GOSSETT - JIBLETS
Miss Nellie JIBLETS, daughter of Mrs. Martha JIBLETS of Cuddy [Pa.], and Mr. Daniel GOSSETT, son of Mr. and Mrs. August GOSSETT of Cecil [Pa.], were united in marriage at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 1940, in St. Mary's church, Cecil [Pa.], by the Rev. Fr. John KOPERA.
The bride wore a navy blue suit with white accessories and carried sweet peas and roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Flora GOSSETT of Cecil [Pa.], wore a grey lace suit with blue accessories and carried sweet peas and roses. Mrs. Charles ZACKARESIS of Cecil [Pa.] served as bestman.
A reception followed in the GOSSETT home. There were 40 guests with 14 seated at the bride's table. About 150 guests gathered in the evening and dancing was the diversion.
Accordion music was furnished by Louis GODFREY of Gladden [Pa].
Mrs. GOSSETT is a graduate of South Fayette high school. Mr. GOSSETT, a graduate of Cecil high school, is employed in the Muse mine.
Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Archie BEAUMARIAGE and son Hubert [BEAUMARIAGE], Mrs. Pauline BEAUMARIAGE and daughter Velma [BEAUMARIAGE], and Emil EMPLET, all of Charleroi [Pa], Mr. and Mrs. Fred GOSSETT of Crafton heights [sic] [Pa.], and Mr. and Mrs. Constance RECONU and daughter Betty Lou [RECONU] of McKees Rocks [Pa.].

GOSSETT - ARBUCKLE
Miss Bessie ARBUCKLE, daughter of Mrs. Anna ARBUCKLE of Oakdale, and Mr. George GOSSETT, son of Mr. and Mrs. August GOSSETT of Cecil, were united in marriage at one o'clock Saturday afternoon, March 18, 1939, in the Methodist parsonage, McDonald, the pastor, the Rev. J. J. BUELL, officiating. The bride wore a topper suit of crushed strawberry color with blue accessories and a corsage of yellow rosebuds. The bridesmaid, Miss Flora GOSSETT, sister of the bridegroom, wore wine colored crepe with black accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. Mr. Francis ARBUCKLE of Ambridge, brother of the bride, served as bestman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the GOSSETT home in Cecil. There were 65 guests with twelve seated at the bride's table. A large pink and white wedding cake was the table centerpiece. Guests were present from Charleroi, Bentleyville, Pittsburgh, Carnegie, Noblestown, Oakdale, and Cecil. After a brief wedding trip through Ohio the young couple will be at home with the bride's
grandmother, Mrs. Sarah NELSON, in Oakdale. Mrs. GOSSETT is a graduate of the Oakdale high school. Mr. GOSSETT, a graduate of Cecil high school, is employed by the National Mining Co. at Muse.
