bride being a niece of the doctor's wife, who was a sister of

GOEHRING - EHRLER
Miss Erma Edna EHRLER, daughter of Mrs. Mary KERLICKER EHRLER of West Newton [Pa.],
and Mr. Melvin Christian GOEHRING of West Newton [Pa.], son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
William GOEHRING of Erie [Pa.], were united in marriage at nine o'clock Monday
morning, June 13, 1938, in the Holy Family church, West Newton [Pa.], the Rev. M. HEGERICH officiating. The bride was attired in white lace, mid-Victorian style,
with a tulle veil cascading from a juliet cap. She carried a white prayer
book with showers of ribbon, orchids and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids,
Miss Mathilda KERLICKER, Miss Margaret McKELVEY, and Miss Victoria MAGDA, wore
white marquisette. Mr. Larry KERLICKER was the bestman AND Ernest William
HILSEN, Jr., was the ringbearer. Maureen THOMPSON of West Newton [Pa.] played
the wedding music. A reception followed at SWEENY'S. There were 95 guests with eight seated at
the bride's table. The bride attended Pennsylvania State, Robert MORRIS School of Business,
and the Pittsburgh School of Accountancy division. She taught economics four years in the Cecil [Pa.] high school and will continue the next term. Mr. GOEHRING
is employed by the Page Steel and Wire Co., Monessen.

Miss Bessie GLASNER and Mr. E. GOLDBERG were married at the home of
the bride's parents in Pittsburg (sic) on Sunday, January 13
[1907]. They have gone to housekeeping here in McDonald [Pa] and
occupy the COLLINS house on Fourth street. Mr. GOLDBERG is
employed in the clothing department at Goldstein's.

GOODHEW - MCBRIDE
Miss Nancy E. MCBRIDE and Walter GOODHEW of Wilkinsburg were united in marriage Thursday evening, September 27, by the bride's former pastor Dr. G. M. KERR,
at the parsonage in Candor. Mrs. GOODHEW is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander MCBRIDE, and before her graduation from West Penn Hospital Training
School for Nurses, taught in the Washington county schools. Mr. and Mrs. GOODHEW will make their home in Carrick.

GOODWELL - ERCOLANE
Miss Angela ERCOLANE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve ERCOLANE of Aliquippa [Pa.],
and James GOODWELL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank GOODWELL of Center avenue, McDonald [Pa.],
were united in marriage at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 1944, in St. Titus church,
Aliquippa [Pa.],by the Rev. Edward ZAUNER.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a brocaded satin and net gown. She carried
lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid, Miss Rose IAGNEMMA, wore blue taffeta and carried yellow roses. Joseph SIMONI served as bestman.
Following the ceremony, a reception for the immediate families was held in the ERCOLANE home.
Mrs. GOODWELL, who attended the Aliquippa [Pa.] schools, was employed by the American
Bridge Co. Mr. GOODWELL, who attended the McDonald [Pa.] schools, is a craneman for the
Dravo Corp. at Neville Island. They are residing with the bridegroom's parents for the present.
