GILBERT - KLINSKY
Miss Margaret KLINSKY, daughter of Mrs. Anna Klinsky of R. D. 3,
McDonald [Pa], and
Mr. Joseph GILBERT, son of Mrs. Ida GILBERT of R. D. 4, McDonald [Pa], were united
in marriage at eight o'clock Friday evening, July 12, 1940, in the Center United
Presbyterian church, Midway [Pa], the pastor, the Rev. Alfred HUBBARD, performing the
ceremony. The church was decorated with garden flowers.
The bride, given in marriage by Mr. Elmer Holtz of East Liberty,
Pittsburgh [Pa], wore
a gown of white chiffon with white accessories and a corsage of red roses. The
bridesmaid, Miss Mary STRUTH of R. D. 3, McDonald [Pa], wore aqua organza with white
accessories and a corsage of red roses. Mr. Lawrence MERIAGE of R. D. 3,
McDonald [Pa],
served as bestman. Mrs. John KRAEER, Jr., of Midway [Pa] played the wedding music.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada, the young couple will reside
with the bride's mother. Mrs. GILBERT, a 1936 graduate of Hickory
[Pa] high school [sic],
is employed by the Joseph HORNE Co., Pittsburgh [Pa]. Mr. Gilbert is employed in
the Hills Station mine.

Miss Minnie RODGERS of Burgettstown and Mr. Peter GILBERT of Primrose were married at Wheeling Junction at noon on
Wednesday, November 23, 1921. The Rev. J. H. DEBOLT, pastor of the McDonald Methodist church, performed the ceremony.

GILBERT - ROACH
Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel ROACH of 440 Ridge avenue, Canonsburg, announce the marriage of their daughter HELEN MAE to
Willard Lawrence GILBERT, son of Mrs. Ora E. GILBERT of Midway.
The ceremony was performed on Wednesday, August 8, 1934, by the Rev. R. W. NAIRN, D. D., at the manse of the Third United Presbyterian
church, Washington.
The couple had as attendants Mr. and Mrs. George R. MILLS of Canonsburg. The bride was attired in pink and brown organdy, while
Mrs. MILLS wore brown with white accessories. Following the ceremony dinner was served in the home of the bride's parents to the immediate
families and attendants.
The bride was graduated from Canonsburg high school in the class of 1931 and attended Westminster college one year.
Mr. GILBERT was
graduated from Midway high school with the class of 1929 and is employed at Midway.

Howard GILES, son of Mr. and Mrs. William GILES of Fanny street, and Miss Marie
ZIRWAS,
formerly of McDonald, but for the past four years a resident of Detroit, Mich., were united in marriage
Friday afternoon in Pittsburgh. Mr. and Mrs. GILES will make their home in Pittsburgh, where Mr. GILES
is employed in the Jones & Laughlin mills.

GILES - KRAEER
Mr., and Mrs. John E. KRAEER, Sr., of Midway announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Vera
[KRAEER] to James A. GILES of McDonald on Wednesday, December 19, 1934, in the home of the officiating minister,
the Rev. James M. McQUILKIN of the Carnegie U. P. church.
Miss Louisine [sic] KRAEER was her sister's maid of honor and Walter PETTIT of McDonald acted as best man. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner
was served in the home of the bride's parents to the family and a few friends.
Mr. and Mrs. GILES left Pittsburgh Wednesday night by bus for a trip through the South. They intend to take up their residence in
Miami, Florida.
