Miss Ethel WARD of Washington and Edward C. FULLGRAF, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred FULLGRAF of R. D. 4, McDonald, were united in marriage at a quiet ceremony at 6:30 Monday evening, August 21, 1939, at Wellsburg, W.Va.  The Rev. Howard BEST performed the ceremony. The young couple was accompanied by the bridegroom's parents, a sister of the bridegroom, Miss Emma FULLGRAF, and Mrs. Harold STAGE of Washington. After a short wedding trip they will be a home at R. D. 4, McDonald.

Miss Idelle Jane FRAZEE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh FRAZEE of Fanny street, and Kenneth E. FULMER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin A. FULMER of Oakdale, were united in marriage at seven o?clock Saturday evening, January 26, 1924, in the parsonage of the Methodist church, the Rev. J. H. DeBOLT officiating. The bride, who was unattended, wore a gown of fawn colored canton crepe. Mr. and Mrs. FULMER will reside with the bride?s parents in Fanny street for the present. Mr. FULMER is employed by the Carnegie Coal company at the Oakdale mine.

Miss Gladys JACOBS of Cherry Valley and Mr. Elmer FULTON of Weirton, W.Va., were united in marriage Saturday, September 12, 1936, in Florence.  Mrs. FULTON was attired in blue satin with slippers to match. Her veil of tulle was turban shaped. Her bouquet was of white roses showered with baby breath. She is a graduate of the McDonald high school. Shortly after the ceremony the young couple left on a trip to Virginia, Maryland and other Eastern States. They will reside in Weirton. Mr. FULTON is an electrician and holds a position in the Weirton steel mills.

FUNARO - PUNOLA 

Miss Patricia Ann PUNOLA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John PUNOLA of R. D. 4, McDonald, became the bride of Jerome Raymond FUNARO, son of Mr. and Mrs. William G. FUNARO of Ingram, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 1959, in St. Alphonsus R. C. church, McDonald.

The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Joseph P. LONERGAN.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length white taffeta gown with a bouffant skirt ending in a chapel sweep. It featured long pointed sleeves and a Salrina neckline formed with lace over the bodice and embroidered with pearls and iridescent sequins. The front of the skirt featured lace appliques [sic] embroidered with pearls and sequins. The finger-tip veil fell from a crown decorated with pearls and sequins and was trimmed with a border of appliques [sic] matching those of the skirt. She carried a white mother-of-pearl prayerbook topped with two white orchids and ivy. 

The maid of honor, Miss Louise ULANICH of Cleveland, Ohio, wore a street-length dress of lavender nylon organdy over taffeta with a bouffant harem-style skirt featuring a Sabrina neckline and a small bow on each shoulder. She also wore lavender brocade shoes and a Dior bow of nylon organdy with a small veil and short,
white gloves and carried a nosegay of white carnations edged in lavender and tied with a lavender ribbon.

The bridesmaids ---Miss Barbara FUNOLA of R.D. 4, McDonald, sister of the bride; Miss Judith ADAMS of R.D. 4, McDonald, and Miss Shirley DONALDSON of McDonald ---wore dresses identical to that of the maid of honor and carried nosegays of white carnations with lavender centers, tied with lavender ribbons.

The bestman was Raymond REMBISZ of Bethel. Ushers were Jack SHANNON of Crafton, Thomas BRUNO of Aliquippa, nephew of the bridegroom; and Gabriel JAMES of Crafton, nephew of the bridegroom.

The bride's mother wore a lace dress over taffeta with beige accessories and white gloves and a corsage of pink carnations. The bridegroom's mother wore a blue and white dress with white accessories, and a corsage of white carnations.

Open house was held in the home of the bride's parents for the immediate families following the ceremony and a buffet-style breakfast was served. A reception for 
approximately 200 guests was held in the evening in the American Legion Home, McDonald.

Out-of-town guest were from Ohio, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Carnegie, Aliquippa, Midway, McDonald, Primrose and Oakdale. 

The bride, a 1956 graduate of Hickory high school, was formerly employed in the Gateway Center in Pittsburgh. 

The bridegroom, a 1952 graduate of Crafton high school, is employed as assistant supervisor of Tri-State Automotives Parts, Pittsburgh. 

After a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains, the couple will reside in Castle Shannon.
