Miss Marjorie Edwards STEWART, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E.

After a brief honeymoon in Erie, Mrs. FREEBURG will return to school at Clarion State
Teachers' college and Lieutenant FREEBURG will return to Randolph field, Texas,
where he will become an aviation instructor.

PARSONS - FRENCH
In the first Presbyterian church of Aspinwall the marriage of Miss Rachel Belle PARSONS, daughter of George L. PARSONS, to William Arthur FRENCH, son of Robert G. FRENCH, of Kimberly, Ontario, was solemnized recently by the Rev. Dr. H. A. GEARHART, assisted by Rev. Arthur E. FRENCH, uncle of the bridegroom.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and wore white satin and tulle with veil of Brussells lace and tulle, trimmed with white orange blossoms. She carried a shower of orchids, white roses, and lilies-of-the-valley.
Miss Mary Martha PARSONS was her sister's maid of honor and wore three shades of taffeta, peach, blue and orchid, while the bridesmaids, Miss Emma Lou LYTLE of Aspinwall and Mrs. Harry KLINGENSMITH, sister of the bridegroom, wore three shades of taffeta, orchid, blue and green, and carried Dresden bouquets.
Don HENRY of Detroit was best man and the ushers included Maurice FRENCH and Edward FRENCH, brothers of the bridegroom, John McCLEMENTS of East End, Pittsburgh, and T. Chester PARSONS of Altoona. A reception at Webster Hall followed the ceremony. Later, Mr. and Mrs. FRENCH left by motor for a trip to Canada.
Mrs. FRENCH is known to McDonald people, having visited here on various occasions.

FREVILLE - SCHUMACHER
Miss Myrtle SCHUMACHER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey SCHUACHER (sic) of
Muse [Pa],
and Mr. Eloi FREVILLE of Bulger [Pa] were united in marriage Tuesday morning,
August 1, 1939, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic church, Washington [Pa], the Rev. Father
Andrew CAPORA [sic=Andrew J. ZAPORA] officiating. The bride wore a white silk street dress and a white hat
with long streamers. Her corsage was of pink and white flowers. Her sister,
Mrs. Joseph ZEGLER of Canonsburg [Pa], the only attendant, wore a blue street dress
and hat to match and a corsage of blue and pink flowers. Mr. Noel FREVILLE of
Bulger [Pa] served as his brother's bestman. A wedding breakfast was served to
eighteen guests in the Coffee shoppe, Muse [Pa]. After an Eastern motor trip, the
young couple will reside at 110 Grant street, McDonald [Pa].

Miss Adine Avenell GRACIE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis GRACIE of Prospect street, Midway, and Rene Robert
FREVILLE, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Rene FREVILLE, Sr., of Valley street, McDonald, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 19, 1947, in the Midway Baptist church. Rev. Eldin
BENNETT, pastor of the Center U. P. church, performed the double ring ceremony by candlelight before an altar decorated with ferns, palms, and mixed flowers. The church pianist, Mrs. C. F.
DAVIDSON, presented a prelude of traditional wedding music and Paul
NIMAL of McDonald sang ?The Sweetest Story Ever Told,? ?At Dawning,? and ?I Love You Truly.?
The bride was attired in a winter white crepe street length dress with brown accessories. She carried a white prayer book with an orchid marker. Her only jewelry was a set of gold earrings, a gift of the bridegroom. The wedding traditions were carried out.
The matron of honor, Mrs. Richard DIPS, sister of the bride, wore a peach street length dress with brown accessories. She carried a colonial bouquet of talisman roses. Edward L.
SMITH of McDonald, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, served as bestman and Ray
SMITH of McDonald and James BISH of Midway were the ushers.
The bride?s mother wore a navy blue dress with matching accessories and the bridegroom?s mother wore a black pinstripe dress with black accessories. They each wore a corsage of red rosebuds.
Following the ceremony a reception for 50 guests was held in the home of the bride. A three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom formed the table centerpiece. Lighted white tapers were placed on each end of the bridal table.
The newlyweds left that evening for a five-day wedding trip to points of interest in Virginia. Upon their return they will make their home in McDonald.
The bride is a 1945 graduate of the Midway high school, and prior to her marriage was employed by the C. & B. Oil Co., Pittsburgh. The bridegroom, a 1944 graduate of Union high school, Burgettstown, served two years in the navy. He is attending a mortuary school in Pittsburgh.

FREW - STENDER
Miss Ruth STENDER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. STENDER of the Eastend,
Pittsburgh [Pa], and Mr. Matthew FREW of Buffalo, N.Y., were united in marriage at
3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, January 24, 1938, in the manse of the First Presbyterian church, the Rev. O. E.
GARDNER, D.D., performing the ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Miss Bertha STENDER, sister of the bride,
was the bridesmad. Mr. George FREW, brother of the bridegroom was the bestman.
The bride's parents, two sisters, brother, and three aunts were in attendance.
The young couple will reside in Buffalo [N.Y.] The STENDER family was actively connected
with the Valley View Presbyterian church when Dr. GARDNER was its pastor.
