ELLER ? DEER
Miss Alice Marie Deer, daughter of Mrs. Ida Deer and the late James Deer of Midway, and the Rev. Harold W. Eller, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Eller of Midway, were united in marriage at a candle light service at 8:00 o?clock Wednesday evening, September 29, 1943 in the Center United Presbyterian church, Midway. The Rev. Jose Medina of the Millvale Presbyterian church and classmate of the Rev. Eller, officiated.
The couple exchanged vows before an altar banked with ferns and palms and highlighted by candles. The single ring ceremony was used.
Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. John E. Kraeer, Jr., church pianist, played ?At the Dawning,? ?The Sweetest Story Ever Told,? and ?Because.?
The bride wore a dress of aqua blue wool, a hat to match, with brown accessories and a corsage of orchids. For something ?old and borrowed? she wore a pearl necklace belonging to her aunt, Mrs. T. J. Richards. For the traditional something ?new and blue? she carried a blue linen handkerchief presented to her by one of her former pupils, Virginia
Shuntill.
The maid of honor and only attendant, Miss Lucille Schuster of McDonald, cousin of the bride, wore a dress of violet crepe with black accessories and a corsage of gardenias. Ted E. Eller of Beaver Falls served as his brother?s
bestman.
Mrs. Eller attended Muskingum college, New Concord, Ohio, and received her bachelor of science degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh. She has taught in the Midway public school for ten years. The Rev. M. [sic] Eller is a graduate of Geneva college and the Western Theological Seminary.
Following the ceremony, the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Eller left on a short wedding trip.

The marriage of Miss Edna Alvira RUSSELL, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Andrew Lyle RUSSELL of Ironton, Ohio, and Mr. Thomas Morgan ELLIOTT, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. ELLIOTT
of Fifth street, was solemnized in the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. R. M. WEIR, in Third street on Tuesday evening, June 10, 1924, at five o'clock. The Rev. Dr. R. W. NAIRN of the Center United Presbyterian church of Midway officiated, and he was assisted by the Rev. Dr. W. D. IRONS, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald. The ring ceremony was used. The ceremony was performed before an altar of palms and ferns banked with Columbia and butterfly roses. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of flesh crepe with trimming
of baby Irish lace. Miss Leila Martha RUSSELL, as bridesmaid, wore a peach georgette gown trimmed with cream colored lace. The bride carried a bouquet of butterfly and white roses showered with lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid's
bouquet was Columbia roses. Mr. ELLIOTT had as his best man, Mr. James White Young of McDonald. Following the ceremony a reception-dinner took place in the WEIR home. The bride's table was decorated with a centerpiece of June roses. Mr. and Mrs. ELLIOTT left by motor for an Eastern trip. They will be at home after July first in Jefferson avenue, McDonald.

EMERICK - RATTI
Miss Marie RATTI, daughter of John RATTI of Gladden, and Glenn EMERICK, son of Mrs. E. EMERICK of Cecil, were united in marriage at one o'clock Saturday,
September 19, 1942, by Justice of the Peace Leo ANDRES in his home at Gladden.
The bride wore a blue dress and a corsage of red rosebuds.
A reception was held Saturday evening in the EMERICK home. There were fifty guests with twenty-three seated at the bride's table.
Mrs. EMERICK is a graduate of South Fayette high school and Mr. EMERICK is a Cecil high graduate. The couple reside in Cecil.
