DICKSON - BRADBURY
In the historical old church of St. Davids at Radnor, a suburb of Philadelphia, the marriage of Blanche BRADBURY and William R. DICKSON
was solemnized Saturday, August 19, 1939, at twelve o'clock, the Reverend Dr. LEWIS officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. William
BRADBURY, and was given in marriage by her brother, William BRADBURY. She wore pale blue marquisette with veil of tulle cascading
from an embroidered tiara. She carried a bouquet of baby mums, lilies of the valley, and
babybreath. Her matron of honor was her sister, Mrs.
Dorothy SCHUGG of Phiadelphia, whose gown was of pale pink with pale blue accessories, and carrying garden flowers.
Mr. Harvey DUNN of New Jersey was Mr. DICKSON's bestman and the ushers were his brother, Philip DICKSON of McDonald, and Messrs.
MCHENRY, SHARP and LUNNIS, all of Philadelphia. The church was decorated with ivy and evergreens from the country home of Mr. and Mrs.
John A. TILLOTSON, an uncle and aunt of the bridegroom at Wayne. A reception at the Wayne hotel followed the ceremony.
On Friday evening a rehearsal dinner was given by Mr. and Mrs. TILLOTSON at the beautiful Tredyfrin Country club at Wayne.
The bride and groom left immediately after the reception for New York where they took a boat for the West Indies. On their return they will
reside in Narberth, Pa.
Miss BRADBURY is a teacher in the South Philadelphia schools. Mr. DICKSON is a son of Dr. and Mrs. W. H. DICKSON of McDonald, and
is with the Atlantic Refining Co. in Philadelphia. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Sigma Chi
fraternity.
Those attending the wedding from this section included Dr. and Mrs. DICKSON and son Philip and Miss Mary SEABRIGHT of McDonald
and Miss Jane and Miss Virginia CAMPBELL of Canonsburg.
