REEDER - CURTIS.

Miss Jane Cochran REEDER, accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. REEDER, of Pennsylvania avenue, Steubenville, became the bride of Mr. Chester CURTIS, of Wilkinsburg, son of Mrs. Pearl CURTIS, the ceremony being performed at 10:30 o'clock on last Thursday, August 18, in the Second United Presbyterian church, Rev. J. B. CAVITT, of Hamilton, O., friend of the REEDER family, officiating before an assemblage of friends and relatives. 

To the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march, played by MacDonald WEAVER, of Washington, Pa., Miss REEDER entered on the arm of her father, who gave her in marriage. She was attired in a gown of rose beige crepe, her hat and slippers to harmonize. She carried bridal roses and lilies-of-the-valley. The bride's only attendant and maid of honor, was Miss Jean HAYES, of Columbus, who wore a dress of poudre blue crepe, light pink hat and carried an arm bouquet of garden flowers. William H. PARMALEE, an attorney of Pittsburgh, was the groom's best man.

Immediately following the wedding ceremony, a breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents. Covers were laid for thirty-six with places for twelve at the bridal table, pink and white predominating in the general appointments.

Mr. and Mrs. CURTIS left later on Thursday afternoon for a honeymoon by motor. For travelling [sic] the bride wore a gray tailored outfit with small black hat. The bride, who has been extensively entertained by a number of pre-nuptial courtesies, attended Hiram college and was graduated from the Rochester School of Dental Hygiene. For the past five years she had been associated with Dr. L.B. PETERSON. The groom, who attended both the University of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania State college, is associated with the Hartford Insurance company.

Among the out-of-town guests present at the wedding were Mrs. Martha BAKER, of La Gloria, Cuba, aunt of the bride; A. H. REEDER, of Altoona, the bride's uncle, and Mrs. O. B. HAYES and Miss Jean HAYES of Columbus.

Marriage Notice for Frank CUSATO to Gertrude Bonardi, 26 Jun 1940 From the McDonald, PA Record-Outlook newspaper of July 5, 1940, page unknown: 

CUSATO - BONARDI

Miss Gertrude BONARDI, daughter of Mrs. F. BONARDI of Carnegie, formerly of Midway, and Mr. Frank CUSATO, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph CUSATO of Carnegie, were united in marriage Wednesday, June 26, 1940, in Holy Souls church, Carnegie.

The bride wore a white embroidered organza gown and carried lilies of the valley and white roses. The maid of honor, Miss Evelyn BONARDI, sister of the bride, wore a gown of pink organza and carried pink roses and blue delphinium. Mr. Joseph CURINGA of Carnegie served as bestman.

A reception followed with 30 guests. After a short wedding trip, the young couple will reside in Carnegie. Mrs. CUSATO attended the Midway public school. Mr. CUSATO attended Carnegie schools.
