Donald CRAMER, who was reared in McDonald and is a son of Mrs. J. R. THOMPSON by a former marriage, was united in marriage with Miss Emma HUCKSTEP at Chautauqua, Kans., August 25. Donald when here was employed as a printer with the Outlook. In Kansas he has charge of an oil lease.

Miss Jean Louise PROVOST, United States naval reserve, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. PROVOST of Oakdale, and Cpl. Francis Warren CRAMER, son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. CRAMER of Mt. Solon, Va., were united in marriage Thursday evening, April 8, 1943, in the Mossy Creek Presbyterian church, Mt. Solon, by the Rev. S. M. QUERY. The immediate families witnessed the ceremony.

Mrs. CRAMER is with the Cleveland (Ohio) bureau of supplies and accounts and Corporal CRAMER is stationed at Ft. Story, Va.

CRATSLEY - RODGERS

The marriage of Miss Isobel RODGERS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William RODGERS of Oakland, Pittsburgh, and F. Melvin CRATSLEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert CRASTLEY of Imperial, was solemnized at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 1940, in the First Baptist church, Pittsburgh, the Rev. Dr. James TELFORD officiating. Preceding the ceremony, Miss CLARK played "O Promise me," "I Love You Truly," and Lohengrin's Wedding March," on the church pipe organ.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore white silk marquisette with inserts of Chantilly lace, with Chantilly lace mitts and a finger tip veil on a bonnet headdress trimmed with a bridal wreath. She wore her grandmother's pearls. She carried white roses with lilies-of-the-valley and sprays of babybreath. The maid of honor, Miss Jane STAUB, of Pittsburgh, wore yellow net over taffeta with French blue accessories and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and French blue babybreath. The bridesmaid, Miss Rhoda STEPHENS of Cincinnati, wore French blue net over taffeta with French blue accessories. Her flowers were pink roses with blue babybreath. The junior bridesmaid, Susan RODGERS, young sister of the bride, wore white lace over pink taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink and white roses. Mr. Raymond CARNELLY of the University of Virginia served as bestman and Mr. William RODGERS, Jr., brother of the bride, was an usher. Mrs. William RODGERS, Sr., wore pink crepe and Mrs. Herbert CRATSLEY wore a black and white sheer ensemble. Both wore corsages of tea roses.

About one hundred attended the reception in the bride's home immediately following the the wedding. A photograph was taken of the bridal couple at the beautifully decorated table as the bride was cutting the wedding cake, which had enclosed a miniature music box that played chimes while the guests were being served the two-course lunch. later in the afternoon, the guests were shown the large number of gifts, one of which was a quilt made with 1950 silk patches made by Mrs. Marion ALLISON, the bride's grandmother, nearly 80 years of age.

Following a motor trip to Buffalo and a two-day cruise on the Great lakes, Mr. and Mrs. CRATSLEY will reside in their newly furnished apartment at 2325 Braddock avenue, Swissvale. Mrs. CRATSLEY is a graduate of Schenley high school. Mr. CRATSLEY graduated in June from Carnegie Institute of Technology and is a member of the Alpha Tau Omiga fraternity. Hi is an engineer in the Carnegie Illinois Steel Corporation, Rankin.
