COX - BRINKMAN

A double wedding ceremony was performed at ten o'clock Saturday morning, July 27, 1940, in the parsonage of the Methodist church, Winchester, Va., by the pastor, the Rev. Mr. SWAN.

Miss Avella Jane CLOUSTON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles CLOUSTON of Gladden heights, McDonald, became the bride of Mr. Harry BRINKMAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry BRINKMAN of Muse. The bride wore a pink traveling suit with blue accessories. Mrs. BRINKMAN is a 1939 graduate of McDonald high school. Mr. BRINKMAN attended Cecil high school and is employed in the Muse mine. The young couple will reside with the bride's parents.

Miss Vera BRINKMAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry BRINKMAN of Muse, became the bride of Mr. Lawrence COX, Jr., of Muse. The bride wore a black and white street length gown with white accessories. Mr. COX is employed in the Muse mine. They will reside in Muse.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert GRIFFITH of Gladden heights were the attendants for both couples.

Miss Elizabeth DARABOS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter DARABOS of Oakdale, and George CRAFT, Jr. of McDonald were united in marriage at eight o'clock Tuesday evening, June 26, 1928, in the Oakldale Presbyterian church, by the pastor, the Rev. J. Melvin KEYES. The bride was attended by her sisters, Miss Helen DARABOS and Miss Mary R. DARABOS. The young couple have gone to live for the present with the bride's parents.
