COOVER - McPEAK
Mrs. Robert Wilson McPEAK of the Valentour apartments, McDonald, announces the marriage of her daughter Alice Elizabeth [McPEAK] to Richard Thompson COOVER of Ogden, Utah, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W. MELIN of Harrisburg, on Christmas day, December 25, 1942, at Malad, Idaho.
The bride wore a soldier blue velveteen dress with matching accessories and a corsage of gardenias.
Mrs. COOVER is a graduate of Hickory high school and Duff's Secretarial school and was formerly employed by the War department in New
Cumberland. Mr. COOVER, a graduate of William Penn high school, Harrisburg, is employed at Hill field, Ogden, Utah, where they will reside.

COPELAND - ZUFALL
Miss Mary Elizabeth ZUFALL, daughter of Mrs. Elma ZUFALL of near Murdocksville, and William COPELAND of Etna were married Friday evening, April 26, 1940, in the Clinton Pilgrim Holiness church. Mrs. David MCCRACKEN, the wife of a former pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. About 56 guests attended a reception in the home of the bride's mother.

CORCORAN - YOUNG
The marriage of Miss Sara Elizabeth YOUNG, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew YOUNG of Fourth street, McDonald, to John C. CORCORAN, son of Dr. and Mrs. S. W. CORCORAN of Dormont, took place at 12:30 o'clock Wednesday, July 19, 1939, in the home of the bride's parents.
The ceremony was performed by the bridegroom's father, who was assisted by the Rev. O. E. GARDNER, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian church, McDonald, before a background of palms and ferns with standards of gladioli.
The bride wore a gown of white marquisette designed with a sweet-heart neckline and short puffed sleeves. her double veil of finger-tip length fell from a small net toque trimmed with orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.
Following a reception, Mr. and Mrs. CORCORAN left for a Canadian trip. Upon their return, they will reside in the Delmont apartments, McFarland road, Dormont.

CORNELL - CHIFF
Miss Irma CHIFF, formerly of Primrose, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August CHIFF of Primrose, and Albert H. CORNELL, son of Mrs. Louise A CORNELL of Marshfield, Mass., were united in marriage at six o'clock Thursday evening, November 24, 1943, in the CORNELL home. The Rev. George HALLOWELL of Marshfield, Mass., performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a cinnamon colored dress with brown accessories carried an old-fashioned nosegay of yellow roses and white sweetpeas. Her only attendant, Mrs. Webster CLARK of Humarock, Mass., wore a blue dress and a corsage of pink roses. Mr. Clark served as bestman.
Following the ceremony, the couple left for New York and Pittsburgh, where they spent their honeymoon. The reside in Boston, Mass.

The wedding of Miss Carolyn COOPER, daughter of Mrs. Charles H. COOPER, of Salisbury, Md., and Philadelphia, and Rowley Cook CORNELL, of Philadelphia, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. CORNELL, of Station street, McDonald, took place Saturday, April 9, at 6:30 in the Arch Street M. E. church, Philadelphia, with the Rev. Dr. H. Milton NICHOLS officiating. The bride entered on the arm of J. S. McMICHAEL, of Pittsburgh, and was attended by Miss Rosina GUSPARRI, of Philadelphia, as maid of honor. The groom was attended by a cousin, J. Coleman McMICHAEL, of Pittsburgh. Prof. Frank BROWN, of the University of Michigan, and Francis McMICHAEL, of Pittsburgh, were ushers. The impressive double ring ceremony was used. The bride was dressed in a beautiful gown of white satin charmeuse over taffeta trimmed in lace and pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses and lilies-of-the-valley. Her crowned veil was adorned with orange blossoms and her only adornment was a circle of pearls. Prof. J. R. REDER presided at the organ, giving an half-hour organ recital before the ceremony. "O Promise Me," with chime accompaniment, was played during the
ceremony. A reception followed with covers for 20 at the Walton hotel. Miss COOPER is a graduate of the Salisbury High school, Baltimore Normal school and the School of Arts at Philadelphia. Mr. CORNELL is a graduate of McDonald High school and Temple University, Philadelphia. He is employed with the Nairn Congoleum company of Philadelphia. The happy couple will make their home at 1225 North 55th street, Philadelphia.
