residents of McDonald for many years and are well and favorably known. After a wedding trip West, during which Mr. and Mrs. COOK will visit friends in Cleveland, Adena, and New Philadelphia, Ohio, they will go to housekeeping in their newly furnished home in Barr street, McDonald.

The bride wore a blue ensemble and a corsage of orchids. The bride's mother and the bridegroom's mother were the only attendants.
Mrs. COOK is a graduate nurse of the West Penn hospital, Pittsburgh. Mr. COOK, a graduate of McDonald high school and Carnegie Tech, is employed in the engineering department of the Glen-Martin Aircraft Corp., Baltimore, Md.
The couple reside in the Aigburth Park apartments, Towson, Baltimore, Md. [

Following a wedding trip to Chicago, the young couple will reside in Pittsburgh, where Mr. COOK is employed by the Braun Baking Co. The bride is a teacher in the McDonald schools.

Miss Helen MOORE, daughter of Mrs. Jessie WALKER of Washington avenue, McDonald, and Thomas COOK, son of Mrs. Dora COOK of Washington and Pittsburgh, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, 1947, in the Immaculate Conception church, Washington. The Rev. M. J. HUGHES performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a blue afternoon dress with white accessories and a corsage of white roses. The matron of honor, Mrs. Catherine CARLYSLE of Washington, wore a gray dress with black accessories and a corsage of red roses. Leo CARLYSLE of Washington served as bestman. Traditional wedding music was played preceeding
[sic] the ceremony and Ava Maria was played softly during the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a dinner for four guests was served in the George Washington hotel. Upon their return from a two-week wedding trip to Chicago the young couple will make their home in Pittsburgh. The bride attended Slippery Rock State Teachers college and Pennsylvania State college. The bridegroom attended the Immaculate Conception school in Washington and is employed by the Braun Baking Co., Pittsburgh.
