Monday, May 20, at 10 o'clock in the home of Rev. Charles STUNKARD, pastor of the Hickory United Presbyterian church, was solemnized the marriage of Miss Genevieve ROSS, daughter of Mrs. Lettie ROSS, of Hickory, and Charles COLWES, son of Mrs. Caroline COLWES, of Hickory.
The bride wore a traveling suit of blue with hat to match, and a corsage of lilies of the valleys. {sic} The bride attended Hickory Vocational High school
and is a graduate in the class of 1925. For the past four years has been a successful teacher in Smith and Mt. Pleasant township schools. Mr. COLWES is also a graduate of Hickory Vocational High school in the class of 1918. At present he is associated with his brother in the barber business at Hickory. [
