George H. CATTLEY of Pittsburgh and Miss Minnie B. AYRES of McDonald were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, August 1st, 1925 at 2 o'clock at the home of the bride's father, Mr. Clark AYRES of the South side. Only members of the immediate families were present. The Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D. performed the ceremony. Miss Frances CATTLEY, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Mr. Harry AYRES, a brother of the bride, served as best man. After a wedding trip to New York and other eastern cities Mr. and Mrs. CATTLEY will make their home in Pittsburgh.

CENEY - CUMMINS

Miss Dorothy Viola CUMMINS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Clarence CUMMINS of Cecil, and Herbert Crawford CENEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. John CENEY of Carnegie [Pa], were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 10, 1944, in the Cecil Union Gospel Mission. The Rev. W. L. STUART of Crafton, pastor of the church, performed the ring ceremony.

The wedding music was played by Charles BEEBEE of Shaler park, Glenshaw [Pa], pianist for the radio program, "Lest We Forget", conducted by the Rev. Jack MUNYON of Pittsburgh. Walter NEAL of the Eastend, Pittsburgh, formerly connected with the religious program of I?. P. LEHMAN of Downtown church, Washington, sang "Because" and "Oh, Promise Me."

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white brocaded satin and marquisette with a fingertip veil held in place with a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a showered bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Effie CUMMINS, sister of the bride, wore a blue self-flowered net gown with cap veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. Earl SICKLES of Carnegie [Pa], brother-in-law of the bridegroom, served as bestman, and Clarence CUMMINS, Jr., brother of the bride, and Charles CENEY, brother of the bridegroom, were the ushers.

The bride is a 1942 graduate of Cecil township high school and was formerly employed as a clerk by the A. J. Harding Cleaners of Carnegie. Mr. CENEY is employed by Marcus Sherman & Sons at the tire shop in Bridgeville [Pa].

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the CUMMINS home for close friends and relatives. The young couple received a number of gifts. They have gone to housekeeping in their newly furnished apartment at 732 Idlewood avenue, Carnegie [Pa].

Miss Clara Elizabeth KAUFMANN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John KAUFMANN of Valley street and Mr. Joseph CENIS, Jr., son of Mr. Joseph CENIS, Sr. of Laurel hill were united in marriage at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D. on Tuesday evening, November 10th at 6 o'clock. The attendants were Miss Josephine CENIS, a sister of the groom, and Mr. R. A. CARLIER of McDonald.  Immediately after the ceremony they went to the KAUFMANN home in Valley street where a wedding supper and reception was held. They will go to housekeeping in McDonald.
