Miss Jane GOBLECK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian GOBLECK of Joffre, and Mr. Michael CARROTO of Midland
[Pa] were united in marriage Saturday, November 2, 1940, in East Liverpool, Ohio.
The bride wore a cadet blue ensemble with a corsage of talisman roses. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
GALIOTO.
A reception and dinner for the immediate families was held in the GOBLECK home. The young couple left for a trip to New York over the new super highway and upon their return will reside in
Midland [Pa], where Mr. CARROTO is employed in the steel mills.

Miss Mildred SINGLETON of Carnegie and Emmett CARTER, stationed with the navy in Nebraska, were united in marriage at 6:45 pm.m Tuesday, November 16, 1943, in the Baptist church, Carnegie, by the Rev. J. A. TERRY. The bride wore a white satin gown. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of the bride.

Thursday evening of last week, at the residence of the bride's
parents, were married Vance CARTER, of Cherry Valley, and the eldest
daughter of Officer WILLIAMSON. Among the guests was Deputy Hugh COYLE,
of McDonald, who lost his life at Noblestown on Saturday. Mrs. COYLE,
whose maiden name was RODGERS, is a sister of Mrs. WILLIAMSON.

CARTER - DHANS
The marriage of Miss Isabelle K. DHANS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse DHANS of Westland, and William H. CARTER, also of Westland,
took place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 1934, in the manse of the South Canonsburg church. The marriage ceremony was performed
by Ralph T. KEMPER, pastor. The couple was attended by the bride's sister Miss Flora DHANS. The bride wore a blue ensemble suit with
corresponding accessories. A wedding dinner was served at noon in the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. CARTER will reside in
their newly furnished home in Westland. Mr. CARTER is employed at Hill Station.
