CAPELLE - PHILLIPS
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard PHILLIPS of Railroad street, McDonald, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Laura Mae, to Herman W. CAPELLE of Sturgeon.
The wedding took place December 2, 1936, in the First Presbyterian parsonage in Wellsburg, W.Va., the ring ceremony being performed by the Rev. Joel L. WADE. Mr. and Mrs. Walter SPARKENBAUGH of Sturgeon were the attendants.
Mrs. CAPELLE is a 1937 graduate of the McDonald high school. Mr. CAPELLE attended the South Fayette high school. They will make their home for the present with the bride's parents.

CAPITANI - REMY
Miss Betty Mae REMY, daughter of John REMY of Carnegie, became the bride of Ernest CAPITANI, son of Mrs. Sarah CAPITANI of Valley street,
McDonald, at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 1946, in the First Christian church, Carnegie, the pastor, the Rev. Mr. BARBOR, performing
the ceremony. The wedding music was played by Mrs. RILEY.
The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white marquisette fashioned with fitted bodice, a high neckline, short eyelet sleeves,
and wore long white gloves. Her veil was of finger-tip length crowned with seed pearls. She carried a white Bible marked with an orchid, white
gladioli, and white satin streamers. Wedding traditions were carried out.
Miss Marie REMY of Carnegie, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and wore a gown of pink satin and carried pink roses and gladioli with
pink streamers. Another sister, Miss Mildred REMY of Mt. Lebanon, and Miss Dolories Laurenzi were bridesmaids. The former wore a gown of
pink net and carried a bouquet of pink roses and gladioli with blue streamers, and the latter wore a blue net gown and carried a bouquet of pink
roses and gladioli with pink streamers. Donald CAPITANI of McDonald was his brother's bestman and John REMY and Robert Burnside were
ushers.
After the ceremony, a buffet supper was served in the REMY home with covers laid for 40 guests including friends and relatives from Carrick,
Crafton, and Mt. Lebanon. The young couple took a short trip and are at home in 642 Bell avenue, Carnegie.
Mrs. CAPITANI is a sister of Mrs. Charles GRIBBIN, and Mrs. Ralph GARDINER of McDonald. She is a graduate of Clark high school. Mr.
CAPITANI, a discharged war veteran, is a graduate of McDonald high school.

CAPITANI - CAIRNS
Miss Margaret Ann CAIRNS daughter of Mr. James CAIRNS of Bridgeville and Mr. Hubert C. CAPITANI, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic CAPITANI of McDonald were united in marriage at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 1940, in St. Barbara's church, Presto, by the Rev. Father PIKUTIS.
The bride wore a gown of white satin with a fingertip veil which draped from a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of Jonathan Hill roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid, Miss Virginia QUINN, cousin of the bride, wore a gown of powder blue net over tafeta trimmed in lace with yellow accessories. Her flowers were pink roses with blue delphinium. Mr. William ORTOSKI of Mc Donald served as bestman. The wedding music was played by Mr. Anthony POLASKY of Bridgeville.
Following the church ceremony, a reception was held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. William KRAMER (sister of the bride). Thirty-five guests were present with twenty-seven seated at the bride's table. A large wedding cake formed the centerpiece.
The young couple left for a motor trip through the Southern States and will be at home after September 6 in Center Avenue, McDonald. The bridegroom is an employee of the McDonald Express & Transfer Co.
