CAMPBELL - DOUGLASS
Miss Betty DOUGLASS of Valley street [sic], McDonald and Mr. James C. CAMPBELL
of 724 Berkshire avenue [sic], Pittsburgh [Pa], were united in marriage Saturday evening,
June 15, 1940, at 7:30 o'clock in the Second Presbyterian church [sic],
Philadelphia [Pa]. Dr. Edmund E. ROBB, pastor of the Central Presbyterian
church [sic], McKeesport [Pa], an uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony. The bride wore a dress of pink
chiffon with white accessories and carried white roses and snapdragons. Her
sister Mrs. C. M. HUGHEY, was her attendant and wore a dress of powder blue
with white accessories and carried pink roses. The groom's brother Don
[Campbell] was best man. Only the immediate family and a few friends were present at the
ceremony and the dinner which followed at the Penn A. C. in Philadelphia
[Pa]. Mr. CAMPBELL is a junior in the Hahnemann Medical school. Mr. and Mrs.
CAMPBELL will make their home in Philadelphia [Pa].

LOCKHART - CAMPBELL
[ CAMPBELL is the Groom. ]
A pretty wedding took place at seven-thirty o'clock Thursday evening, September 4, 1924, when Miss Rosana LOCKHART, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. W. S. LOCKHART of Station street, became the bride of James Wilson CAMPBELL, son of Mr. G. S. CAMPBELL of Fourth street. The
ceremony took place in the home of the bride's parents, which was beautifully decorated in palms, cibotium ferns and tropical plants. The bridal
couple entered the room to the strains of Lohengrin's "Bridal Chorus" played by Miss Leown PATTERSON. The bride who was given in marriage
by her father, wore a gown of white chantilly lace and embroidered net with a comet veil, and carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley, calla
lilies and white roses. Miss Mabel STEWART of Hubbard, Ohio, was Miss LOCKHART's bridesmaid and wore a gown of peach colored romain
crepe and carried a bouquet of asters and roses. Ralph ALLISON of Barr street served as Mr. CAMPBELL's best man. Jane LOCKHART and
Isabell CAMPBELL were ribbon bearers and were dressed in yellow. Miss Margaret MCBETH of Third street sang "At Dawning," accompanied
by Miss Leown PATTERSON of Fourth street. Mrs. LOCKHART appeared in a gown of Campbell brown. A reception and dinner
supplemented the ceremony. About fifty guests were present. Covers were laid for sixteen at the bride's table, which was adorned with a centerpiece of
gladiola, yellow and pink roses. The bride is a graduate of McDonald high school of the class of 1919 and of Westminster college of the class of 1922,
and has taught music in the North Fayette township schools and in the McDonald grade school. Mr. CAMPBELL is a graduate of McDonald
high school and also attended the University of Pittsburgh. He is a teller of the First National bank. Mr. and Mrs. CAMPBELL left the same
evening for Bermuda and upon their return home will reside at 206 North McDonald street.

On July the 8th at 1:30 p. m., in the First Presbyterian Church of Monongahela, by her pastor, the Rev. William F.
McKEE, Miss Ivie Ruth VAN VOORHIS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton VAN
VOORHIS, was married to John Simington CAMPBELL. Mr. and Mrs. CAMPBELL left for Carthage, Mo., for a short visit. On their return they will make their home in
Monongahela City, corner of Lawrence and Fourth streets. Mr. CAMPBELL was formerly of Midway, Pa.
