CAIRNS - BOUCHY

Miss. Marie BOUCHY, daughter of Mrs. Eugenia  BOUCHY of Cecil and Mr. William J. CAIRNS, also of Cecil, were untied in marriage at ten o'clock Wednesday morning, April 30, 1941, in St. Mary's Roman Catholic church, Cecil, by the Rev. Fr. Aloysius JEZEWSKI.

The bride given in marriage by her brother Leon [BOUCHY], wore a white satin gown, trimmed in lace with a matching veil and a halo of orange blossoms. The gown was made princess style with lace and long sleeves and was trimmed with rosebuds of seed pearls. She carried a mother of pearl prayer book 
with a marker of lilies of the valley. The matron of honor, Mrs. John SITRAKA of Bridgeville, wore a deep blue chiffon gown with dusty rose accessories
and a rhinestone breastpin and buckle. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and blue delphinium. 

The bride's mother wore a navy blue satin lace gown with blue accessories and a corsage of pink roses. Mr. Patrick J. CAIRNS of Cecil served as his
brother's bestman. Miss. Mary QUINN of Cecil played the wedding music.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the BOUCHY home. There were 150 guests with 50 seated at the bride's table. The young couple took a
trip to Niagara Falls and are now at home in Castle Shannon. 

Both Mr. and Mrs. CAIRNS attended Cecil high school.

Miss Anna Florence CARL and Mr. Daniel A. CALDWELL were united in marriage at eight o'clock Wednesday morning, June 25th [1924], at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Otto CARL, in Station street, McDonald. The ceremony was by the Rev. John H. DEBOLT, pastor of the McDonald Methodist church. Those present were the bride's immediate family, also the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Mary BOWMAN, of Cambridge, Ohio.  The bride wore a gown of gray georgette. Following the wedding ceremony a wedding breakfast was served. Mr. and Mrs. CALDWELL left on a motor trip to Atlantic City and other points of interest. After the wedding trip they will be at home at 225 Station street. Mr. CALDWELL is 
manager of the local Huey & Mathews store.

In a Thanksgiving morning wedding ceremony performed in the Presbyterian manse at Cross Creek, the Rev. Ralph E. KAUFMAN officiating, Miss Gwendolyn E. ROBERTSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford ROBERTSON of Florence, became the bride of Robert E. CALDWELL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl S. CALDWELL of near Paris. After the ceremony the bride and bridegroom departed on a short wedding trip to Winchester, Va. Upon their return Mr. and Mrs. Clifford ROBERTSON
entertained at a family dinner in honor of the newlyweds. A bountiful turkey dinner was served to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. William ROBERTSON, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W. REED, Mr. and Mrs. Earl S. CALDWELL, Raymond CALDWELL, Miss Ida WAGNER, Wilbert ROBERTSON, Miss Bertha NEELY, Delbert ROBERTSON, Miss Mary DAVIS, Leonard ROBERTSON, Mr. and Mrs. William BABB, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. CALDWELL, and James ROWE. 

Later in the evening a rousing serenade was tendered the couple.
