Before an embankment of palms, ferns, and fall flowers in the livingroom of the home, a beautiful wedding ceremony took place Friday afternoon, November 6, 1936, when Miss Mary Betty HAYNES, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. The bride was beautifully gowned in a green crepe dress with accessories of lighter shade, and her corsage was of small pompoms and pink roses. Her sister, Miss Elmyra HAYNES, the bride's only attendant, chose burgundy crepe with darker shade accessories. Her flowers were roses and snapdragons. Albert SCHOTTENHEIMER of McDonald served as best man.

Following the ceremony a wedding luncheon was served at the Canonsburg Coffee Shoppe, with places set for 22, embracing the immediate families. Mr. and Mrs. BURNS are now on an Eastern honeymoon trip and upon their return they will receive their friends in their already furnished home in Station street, McDonald.
