BURNS - HAYNES

Before an embankment of palms, ferns, and fall flowers in the livingroom of the home, a beautiful wedding ceremony took place Friday afternoon, November 6, 1936, when Miss Mary Betty HAYNES, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. HAYNES of West College street, Canonsburg, became the bride of Albert J. BURNS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert BURNS of McDonald. The Rev. H. Ross HUME of the Canonsburg U. P. church officiated.

The bride was beautifully gowned in a green crepe dress with accessories of lighter shade, and her corsage was of small pompoms and pink roses. Her sister, Miss Elmyra HAYNES, the bride's only attendant, chose burgundy crepe with darker shade accessories. Her flowers were roses and snapdragons. Albert SCHOTTENHEIMER of McDonald served as best man.

Following the ceremony a wedding luncheon was served at the Canonsburg Coffee Shoppe, with places set for 22, embracing the immediate families. Mr. and Mrs. BURNS are now on an Eastern honeymoon trip and upon their return they will receive their friends in their already furnished home in Station street, McDonald.

BURNS - HOLMES

The marriage of Miss Margaret HOLMES of Pittsburgh and C. B. BURNS of Imperial took place Wednesday afternoon, June 19, in the Seveth Avenue hotel, Pittsburgh. The ceremony was performed by the bride's pastor, the Rev. DODDS, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church at Esplen. Mr. and Mrs. BURNS will reside at Imperial.

BURNS - TURNBULL

Miss. Mary Jane TURNBULL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas TURNBULL of R. D. 1, Oakdale, and Howard BURNS, JR, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Howard BURNS of Sheraden, formerly of Imperial, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 15, 1940, in 
the Union U. P. church, Gayly, the bride's pastor, the Rev. FRANK C. DAVIDSON, performing the ceremony. Mrs. James WITHINGTON, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Mr. WINFIELD BURNS,
brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman.

Mr. BURNS is a pharmacist and he and his brother operate the Burns Bros. pharmacy in Sheraden. Mrs. BURNS is the secretary for a
Pittsburgh Insurance Co.

BURNS - CEREZO

Mr. and Mrs. George CEREZO of East Lincoln avenue, McDonald, announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Henrietta to Hunter M. BURNS, Y 2/c, stationed with the navy overseas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ashby BURNS of Virginia. The couple were married Wednesday afternoon, June 16, 1943, in North Carolina.

EDWARDS - BURR.

Mr. and Mrs. John T. EDWARDS of Ambridge announce the marriage of their daughter Dorothy to Francis BURR of Baden on Wednesday, November 10, 1926. The
EDWARDS family were residents of Oakdale for many years, moving two years ago to Ambridge, where Mr. EDWARDS is employed. Miss Dorothy was a sophomore in the Oakdale high school at the time they moved to Ambridge.
