University of Detroit. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. WILLIAM GILES of Fannie

PLANCE - BRYTE Wedding

A pretty home wedding took place at the residence of Mrs. Margaret PLANCE, 239 E. Lincoln avenue, Thursday evening, June 11, when her youngest daughter, Miss Anna Edna PLANCE became the bride of C. Perry BRYTE of Buffalo, N.Y. The ceremony was solemnized at 6 o'clock, the officiating clergyman being the Rev. J. P. JORDAN, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. The bride was given away by her brother, Leonard P. PLANCE. Miss Nellie WOOD was maid of honor. She wore a gown of pink crepe de chine and carried pink roses. Mrs. Charles ROWAN, a sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore white lace over pink satin and carried pink roses. The bride's gown was of white crepe meteor, tulle lace bodice trimmed with pearls, the gown having a court train and the bride wearing a bridal veil with lace cap and orange blossoms. Her bouquet was bride's roses and lilies of the valley. Dorothy GRISMAN, niece of the bride, was flower girl and Miss Mildred ROWAN, another niece of the bride, was at the piano playing the Lohengrin wedding march. The groom was attended by the bride's younger brother, Charles PLANCE. The wedding ceremony was followed by an informal reception and dinner was served at 7 o'clock. Covers were laid for ten at the bride's table. The bride and groom left Thursday evening for Buffalo where they will be "at home" at 381 Fargo avenue, after July 15. Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. MEHAFFY of Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. REAM and Mr. and Mrs. H. PATTERSON and Mrs. BRYTE of Wilkinsburg, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. RALSON of Ben Avon and Miss Rose McDOWELL, Miss Gladys ESTMAN and Miss Mahala WILLIAMSON of Midway.

BUB - GRUMLING
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. GRUMLING of Emlenton, formerly of Oakdale, announce the marriage of their daughter Ruth Grace to Willard F. BUB of Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, June 29, 1935. The ceremony was performed at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Mr. DOUDS in the parsonage of the First M. E. church of Cleveland, Ohio, in the presence of the immediate families. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. F. M. ROSE, and the best man was F. M. ROSE of Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. BUB is a graduate of Fenn college of Cleveland. After a short honeymoon through Southern Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. BUB will reside in Cleveland where both are employed.

BROWN - BUBBETT
[ BUBBETT is the Groom. ]
At a noonday ceremony September 7 in the Methodist Stone church, Meadville, Margaret Gertrude BROWN of R. D. 1, Linesville, and Chauncey BUBBETT of R.D. 2, Hookstown, were united in marriage. The ritual was read by Dr. Albert MARRIOT, minister of the church, before the altar adorned with white gladoli and lighted by white tapers. The bride was given her mother's ring in the ceremony. She wore a street-length dress of forest green velvet with lace insets and matching hat with smokey
[sic] gray veiling. Her shoulder corsage was of talisman roses and yellow chrysanthemums and she carried a handkerchief of Battenburg lace, a gift of the bridegroom's mother.
After the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of the bride. The table was centered with a four tiered wedding cake and bouquets of yellow snapdragons.
After a short trip to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. BUBBETT will be at home in 847 Franklin avenue,
Aliquippa [Pa].
The newlyweds were serenaded the evening of September 14 by 100 friends who gathered in the BUBBET home in Frankfort. They received many useful gifts.
