The marriage of Miss Elsie SMITH, daughter of D. W. SMITH of Bulger, and William John BRISBIN, son of Dr. C. B. BRISBIN of Lewistown, took place in the bride's home at three o'clock Saturday afternoon, September 20, 1924. The Rev. Dr. NAIRN, pastor of the United Presbyterian church of Midway, officiated. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white beaded georgette and carried an arm bouquet of brides roses. Miss Bertha DICKSON was Miss SMITH's bridesmaid and she wore a gown of orchid georgette and carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. The bridal party entered the room to the strains of Lohengrin's "Bridal Chorus," played by Miss Sara BAMFORD. Jane SMITH and Anna BRISBIN, as ribbon bearers, wore frocks of yellow and orchid organdy. Jean and Martha SMITH, nieces of the bride, were flower girls. Their frocks were in orchid and yellow and they carried colonial bouquets. William RYNEARSON of Sussex, N. Y., a fraternity brother of the bridegroom at Lehigh university, served as Mr. BRISBIN's best man. After an Eastern trip Mr. and Mrs. BRISBIN will be at home in Wilkinsburg.

BRITTON - STACK

Miss Myrtle STACK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George STACK, and George BRITTON, son of Mrs. Margaret BRITTON, both of Imperial, were united in marriage at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 1947, in St. Columbkille church, Rev. L. R. KOLAKOWSKI performed the double-ring ceremony before an altar decorated with roses.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white marquisette gown with sweetheart neckline and trimmed in white lace. Her fingertip veil cascaded from a crown of
orange blossoms and she carried an arm bouquet of white roses.

The maid of honor Miss Dorothy MALARIK of Leetsdale wore an orchid net gown trimmed in lace and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. James CEYROLLES of Library, cousin of the bridegroom, served as bestman.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of the birde's [sic] parents. A three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom, formed the table centerpiece. 

Upon their return from a nothern {sic} wedding trip they will make their home with the bridegroom's mother in Imperial. 

Both Mr. and Mrs. BRITTON are graduates of Findlay high school. Mr. BRITTON is employed at the Moon township airport.

The marriage of Miss Emma Patricia KERIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank KERIN of Imperial, and James A. BRITTON of Imperial was solemnized Wednesday, January 12, 1938, in Saint Columbkille?s church, Imperial [Pa]. The Rev. Father KUPIC performed the ceremony at 9:00 o?clock.

The bride wore a gown of blue velvet trimmed with gold, with matching blue accessories, and a corsage of white snapdragons and white narcissus. Miss Christina KERIN was her sister?s maid of honor and Miss Elizabeth AUBEL of Moon Run [Pa] was bridesmaid. Andrew KOLOSAR of Enlow was best man and Gilbert ENGEL of Imperial [Pa] was usher. A reception was held in the home of the bride?s parents after the ceremony.

Mrs. BRITTON was a 1935 graduate of Findlay [Pa] Vocational high school and Mr. BRITTON attended the Pike school. Mr. and Mrs. BRITTON are at home in Imperial [Pa].

BRIZENDINE ? McCONNELL

The marriage of Miss Dorothy McCONNELL, daughter of Mrs. Myrtle McCONNELL of Clinton [Pa], and John W. BRIZENDINE of Ambridge [Pa], son of the late Mrs. Isabel BRIZENDINE, was event of Friday, May 28, 1938 at 6:45 p.m. in the home of the bride. 

The ceremony was performed by Dr. Thomas E. GRAHAM, pastor of the Ambridge United Presbyterian church, before an improvised altar of ferns and rose bouquets. Forty guests were present for the wedding. 

Music for the occasion was played at the piano by Miss Alice COX of Freedom [Pa], a niece of the bride.

Miss Hilda F. BEHRINGER of Edgeworth [Pa] was Miss McCONNELL?s maid of honor, and flower bearers were Martha and Richard McCONNELL. John Robert McCONNELL served as ring bearer. 

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother, George McCONNELL of Clinton [Pa]. She wore a white chiffon gown and a short veil of tulle. Her flowers were a shower bouquet of white roses and lily of the valley.

Miss BEHRINGER appeared in a peach-colored chiffon dress and carried an arm bouquet of Talisman roses, blue delphinium, and baby?s breath.

Charles A. BRIZENDINE of Niagara Falls, N.Y., brother of the bridegroom, was Mr. BRIZENDINE?s bestman.

After the wedding a buffet supper and reception for the couple was attended by the wedding guests in the bride?s home.

Mr. BRIZENDINE and his bride are enjoying a wedding trip in the East, and when they return will reside at 917 Maplewood avenue, Ambridge [Pa].

Mr. BRIZENDINE graduated from Findlay high school with the 1931 class, and from the School of Nursing at the Valley hospital, Sewickly [Pa], in 1934. She is a registered nurse.
