Mr. Joseph BRIDGE of McDonald and Mrs. Elizabeth ELLIOTT of Midway were united in marriage on Wednesday afternoon, August 24, 1921, at two 
o'clock at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D. Mr. and Mrs. BRIDGE have gone to housekeeping in McDonald.

On November 8, 1947, at 3:30 p.m. in the Westminster church, Burgettstown, before an altar of ferns and lighted candelabra, Audrey ROBINSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John ROBINSON of Burgettstown, became the bride of John Wayne BRIMNER, son of Mr. and Mrs. John BRIMNER of Florence. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. H. FLURKEY of New Cumberland, W. Va., former pastor of the Burgettstown church. 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a long train, long sleeves and sweetheart neck gown of white satin with a fingertip veil which fell from a sweetheart shaped crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses. The maid of honor, Miss Dorothy BOUSTEAD of Oakdale, a cousin of the bride, wore a pink gown with matching head piece and carried a bouquet of yellow baby mums. Donald ACKMAN of Frankfort served as bestman. Jack and Robert ROBINSON, brothers of the bride, ushered. 

The bride's mother wore a blue dress with brown accessories and the bridegroom's mother wore a fuchsia dress with black accessories. Each wore a corsage of red roses. 

A reception was held for the families and close friends following the ceremony in the home of the bride. A three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom served as the table centerpiece. 

The bride is a graduate of Union high, Burgettstown, in the class of '45 and is employed at Nap & Williams Motor Sales as a bookkeeper. Mr. BRIMNER had attended Union high school almost four years, when he entered the navy and served for two and a half years in the E.T.O. and Pacific theaters. He has been employed at Kobuta since his discharge. 

They left by car for a week's honeymoon and are now at home to their friends in Florence.

A double wedding ceremony was performed at ten o?clock Saturday morning, July 27, 1940, in the parsonage of the Methodist church, Winchester, Va., by the pastor, the Rev. Mr. SWAN.

Miss Arvella Jane CLOUSTON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles CLOUSTON of Gladden heights, McDonald, became the bride of Mr. Harry BRINKMAN of Muse. The bride wore a pink traveling suit with blue accessories. Mrs. BRINKMAN is a 1939 graduate of McDonald high school. Mr. BRINKMAN attended Cecil high school and is employed in the Muse mine. The young couple will reside with the bride?s parents.

Miss Vera BRINKMAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry BRINKMAN of Muse, became the bride of Mr. Lawrence COX, Jr., of Muse. The bride wore a black and white street length gown with white accessories. Mr. COX is employed in the Muse mine. They will reside in Muse. 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert GRIFFITH of Gladden heights were the attendants for both couples.

BRINKMAN - EFT Wedding

On Thursday, September 3, occurred the marriage of Miss Elizabeth EFT, daughter of Mr. John EFT of near Wintersville, to Mr. John BRINKMAN of Crafton, Pa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. KEIRN of the Two Ridge Presbyterian Church in the presence of only the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends of the contracting parties. The house was beautifully decorated with ferns and fall flowers. The bride was gowned in white silk chioffn (sic) and carried brides roses. The groom wore the conventional black. After the ceremony a sumptuous wedding dinner was served, after which Mr. and Mrs. BRINKMAN left for a wedding tour including Cleveland, Detroit and other points of interest. The bride is a popular young lady among a large circle of friends and is a graduate nurse of the West Penn Hospital. The groom holds a position in the Farmers Bank Building in Pittsburgh. After their return they will be at home in Crafton, Pa.

Miss Ella LOVE of Valley street and Lawrence W. BRINKMAN of McDonald were united in marriage at 12 o?clock noon on Wednesday, November 24th at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D. The attendants were Miss Cecile SEABRIGHT of Hickory and Mr. Charles BRINKMAN of McDonald, a brother of the groom. After a wedding trip the young couple will got to housekeeping in Valley street. Mr. BRINKMAN is employed at the West Penn Power Company.
