Miss Germaine CHAUVET, daughter of Mrs. Alfred CHAUVET of Sturgeon [Pa], and Emil
BRES, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil BRES also of
Sturgeon [Pa], were united in marriage at 11 o?clock Saturday morning, March 26, 1938, the Rev. Mr. BROWN officiating. They were attended by Miss Geraldine NIX and Paul
DHINAUT, also of
Sturgeon [Pa]. The bride wore a blue suit with a fox collar and matching bonnet and sandals. Her corsage was of pink roses and snapdragon. The bridesmaid wore a rust suit with a wolf collar and matching bonnet and sandals, and a corsage of yellow roses and snapdragon. A wedding breakfast was held in the bridegroom?s home for the immediate families. In the evening a reception was held at the bride?s home at which 150 were in attendance. The young couple will make their home with the bridegroom?s parents. [

BRETTELL - DESCUTNER
Miss Leona Virginia DESCUTNER, youngest daughter of Florman L. DESCUTNER and the late Mrs. Lydia DESCUTNER of Philadelphia, was united in marriage Wednesday, June 3, 1936, to Charles O. BRETTELL of Denver, Colo. The marriage took place in Denver. The bride was attired in a white chiffon gown, with white hat, shoes, gloves, and carried a white purse. She wore a corsage of white roses and lilies of the valley. Her sister, Mrs. Rena D. POLSON, matron of honor, was attired in blue with pink accessories. Miss Velma FORSEBERG of Philadelphia was the maid of honor and was attired in pink with blue accessories. The bride's brother, Raymond J. DESCUTNER of Denver, Colo., was the best man and Raymond FARR of Rollinsville, Colo., was the usher.
The bride and bridegroom left shortly after the ceremony on a trip to Colorado Springs, Manitou, Garden of Gods, Cave of the Winds, Pueblo, and through the Royal Gorge.
Mr. and Mrs. BRETTELL will make their home at 1343 Clayton street, Denver, Colo.
The DESCUTNER family is well known in McDonald, having lived here until their removal to Philadelphia ten or twelve years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh ROBERTSON of Fannie street, McDonald [Pa], announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Lila Smith ROBERTSON, top Mr. J. Creighton BREWSTER of
Ingram [Pa], on the morning of Saturday, September 25, 1937, at 9:45 o?clock.
The ceremony was performed in the manse of the First United Presbyterian church of
McDonald [Pa], the Rev. S. A. McCOLLAM officiating, assisted by the Rev.
W. E. THOMPSON of
Gastonville [Pa].
The bride wore a gray costume suit with navy blue accessories and Talisman rosebuds.
Mrs. W. S. ROBB of Bridgeville [Pa] was her sister?s only attendant. Mr. W. S. ROBB was best man.
A breakfast at the William Penn hotel, Pittsburgh [Pa], followed the ceremony.
After their return from an eastern motor trip, Mr. and Mrs. BREWSTER will be at home in

Mrs. O. R. HARRIS of West Greenville, S.C., announces the marriage of her daughter Helen Frances to Corporal William Creighton BREWSTER of Pittsburgh, on Wednesday, September 30, 1942, in the First Presbyterian church of Greenville.
Dr. Charles H. NABERS officiated in the ring ceremony.
The couple is residing at the home of the bride's mother, Perry avenue, while the bridegroom is stationed at the Municipal airport.
Corporal BREWSTER is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Creighton BREWSTER of Bradford avenue, Crafton, former residents of McDonald and
Burgettstown.

BRICELAND - McCLEARY
On Wednesday, June 7, at high noon, at the home of the parents of the bride in Lawrence
couny, near New Castle, Miss Edith E. [McCLEARY], daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. E.
McCLEARY, was united in marriage with Rev. James M. BRICELAND of McDonald. The
ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Taylor, pastor of the M. E. church of New Wilmington, in the presence of a small party consisting of only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties. Mr. and Mrs.
BRICELAND, parents of the groom, and Messrs. W. J. and C. R. and Miss Erma BRICELAND were present. Mr. BRICELAND who has recently been ordained a clergyman of the U. P. church has accepted a call to the Union church at
Gailey, where the congregation tendered them a reception on Thursday evening.

Two weddings occurred this week which, while not in this immediate neighborhood, are of interest here because two of the parties are known to Imperial people. The one took place at New Castle [Pa] on Tuesday, June 7, when Rev. J. M. BRICELAND of McDonald and a young lady whose name is unknown to the correspondent were united in marriage. Rev. Mr. BRICELAND is the newly elected pastor at Union church and the young couple will be at home in the parsonage at Gailey which has recently been remodeled.

The other wedding will take place in Wilkinsburg when Dr. Slater CRAWFORD of Crafton will be married to Miss ___ WINEMAN of that place. Dr. CRAWFORD is well and favorably known in Imperial, having practiced here with his uncle Dr. J. J. CRAWFORD for a year or more before going to Crafton.
