BRABSON ? ADDINGTON
Miss Jessie Lee ADDINGTON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee M. ADDINGTON of Harmon Creek, and Pfc. Howard Wendell
BRABSON, stationed at Camp Stewart, Savannah, Ga., son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. BRABSON of Midway, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 1944, in the home of the bride?s parents.
The double ring ceremony was performed by candlelight by the Rev. C.L. CUSICK of Mount Pleasant, assisted by the Rev.
C.E.CHAPMAN, pastor of the Midway Methodist Church.
Preceding the ceremony, Miss Janice LINN of Burgettstown sang ?All for You? and ?I Love Thee,? accompanied at the piano by Miss Esther COLE of Midway, who played the wedding march.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white chiffon, trimmed with bands of taffeta. Her fingertip veil was made with a bonnet-effect crown and was decorated with orange blossoms. She carried a white Bible with white markers and an orchid. Miss Reba STEMMEL of South Hills, Pittsburgh, as maid of honor, wore a gown of blue and carried pink roses and gardenias. John
BISH, Jr., of Midway, a close friend of the bridegroom, served as
bestman, and Donald BRABSON, brother of the bridegroom, and Merrill
ADDINGTON, brother of the bride, were the ushers.
Mrs. BRABSON, a 1942 graduate of Union high school, attended Indiana State Teachers college and graduated from the Robert Morris School of Business in Pittsburgh. She is a member of the honorary sorority Phi Beta Chi. She is employed as a secretary for the Marietta Chair & Furniture Co., Pittsburgh.
Private First Class BRABSON, a 1942 graduate of Midway high, was a pre-medical student at W. & J. college at the time of his enlistment. He was a member of the class of 1946 at college and is now with the Airborne anti-aircraft at Camp Stewart, Savannah, Ga.
Sixty guests attended the wedding and reception which followed. There were relatives and friends from Burgettstown and Midway and Miss Mary MAIRN of Waynesburg, Dr. and Mrs. C. Roy PARKER and daughter Carol of Pittsburgh, and Miss Irene
GLESSNER, a WAVE, stationed at Philadelphia.
The bride?s oldest brother, Cadet J.W. ADDINGTON, is in the merchant marine and has been in the South Pacific for some time. The last heard from him he was in Chili, South America. Because he was unable to attend the wedding, recordings were made of the entire ceremony to be played for him when he returns to the States.
The bridegroom?s only brother Donald leaves for the navy April 6.

Miss Mabel BELL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John BELL of McDonald, and John BRABSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. John BRABSON of Midway, went to Wellsburg, W.Va., Thursday morning, May 8, 1924, and were quietly married. Mr. and Mrs. BRABSON will reside for the present with the groom's parents. Mr. BRABSON is employed as a fireman by the Pennsylvania System.

Miss Pearl SAGER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry SAGER of the No. 9 Blocks, McDonald, and Mr. Gustave
BRACKMAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph BRACKMAN of Barr street, McDonald, were united in marriage at 4:00 o?clock Saturday afternoon, February 12, 1938, in the parsonage of the Irons Memorial French
U.P. church, the pastor, the Rev. Alexandre MAGE, D.D., officiating. The bride wore a long pale blue satin gown and a corsage of yellow rose buds. Miss Mary HULYK of McDonald, the bridesmaid, wore a long blue crepe gown with a silver blouse. Mr. Harry SAGER, brother of the bride, was the best man. Following the ceremony, supper was served in the home of the bridegroom?s parents. There were ten guests seated at the bride?s table. Mr. BRACKMAN attended the McDonald high school and is employed in the mine. The young couple will reside at 200 East Lincoln avenue, McDonald.

BRADBURN - KNEPPER Wedding
Dressed in white moire taffeta and wearing a cap veil trimmed with orange blossoms, Miss Margaret Esther KNEPPER of Carnegie became the bride of Wilbur BRADBURN of Oakdale Friday evening, June 19, 1936. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies-of-the-valley and Johanna Hill roses.
The ceremony took place at seven-thirty o'clock in the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Albert R. ZEIGLER, in Fayette street, Oakdale. Mrs. Lester BRADBURN, sister of the bridegroom, sang "I Love You Truly" with the piano accompaniment played by Miss Alice MATHEWSON, who also played the Lohengrin wedding march.
Mrs. Henry K. BARDSLEY of Philadelphia, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore blue starched dotted swiss and carried an arm bouquet of blue delphinium and talisman roses. Miss Margaret Ann BRADBURN, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaid, wore green lace and carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Barbara KNEPPER, niece of the bride, was flower girl and Jackie ZEIGLER, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Elmer BRADBURN of Oakdale was his brother's best man. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, James W. KNEPPER of State College.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Margaret W. KNEPPER of Carnegie. She is a graduate of Oakdale high school and attended Rollins college. The
bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John BRADBURN of Oakdale and is a graduate of Oakdale high school.
The Rev. D. Carl W. WHITE, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Oakdale, officiated at the
ceremony, after which a reception was held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. ZEIGLER.
