BOYER - STEFFENS
Miss Ruth Alice STEFFENS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. STEFFENS of Clinton avenue, Oakdale, and Lieut. Budd W. BOYER, son of Mrs. Florence
BOYER of Indiana, Pa., were united in marriage at 7:30 o'clock Saturday evening, November 14, 1942, in the home of the bride's parents by the Rev.
Charles R. WESLAGER, pastor of the Stanton Heights Evangelical Lutheran church. The candle-light service was performed before an improvised
altar of ferns and palms. There were large standards of bronze chrysanthemums at each end.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a wine velvet dress and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and
stephanitis. The matron of
honor, Mrs. Margaret STEFFENS of Mt. Lebanon, sister-in-law of the bride, wore a green frock and carried a bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums. Homer STEFFENS, brother of the bride, served as
bestman. Miss Betty Jane BARCLAY of Sewickley sang "At Dawning" and "Because," accompanied
by Mrs. Mary HOFFMAN of Oakdale, who also played Lohengrin's wedding march. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the STEFFENS home. Fifty-five guests were present. The young couple left shortly after for their wedding trip. Upon their return, Mrs. BOYER will reside with her
parents. Lieutenant BOYER is stationed at Ft. Eustis, Va.
Mrs. BOYER is a 1940 graduate of Oakdale high school and attended Waynesburg college, where she met Mr. BOYER.

married Thursday evening, November 2, 1939, in the Robinson?s Run parsonage. The Rev. Ross T.
CAMPBELL, D.D., the pastor, performed the ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Gustave
WINTERS of Sturgeon witnessed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. BOYNES will reside in McDonald.

RUSSELL were the attendants. The bride wore a brown suit and matching accessories. Her flowers were yellow mums. The bride is a 1936 graduate of the North Fayette high school.
The bridegroom, a 1935 graduate of McDonald high, is employed at the Pittsburgh Coal Washer.

Miss Eleanor MAGDALENE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. MAGDALENE of R. D. 1, Oakdale, and Cpl. Thomas W.
BOYNES, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. BOYNES of the Steubenville pike, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 1944, in the Montour Presbyterian church by the Rev. W. C.
THOMPSON.
The bride chose a poudre blue ensemble with a corsage of orchids. Her attendant, Miss Jane
BOYNES, sister of the bridegroom, wore an orchid ensemble and a corsage of gardenias. Duane
ALLEN served as bestman.
The young couple left immediately after the ceremony for a brief wedding trip. Corporal
BOYNES was a mechanic at MITCHELL?s garage, Oakdale, prior to entering the service.

BOZICK - LOGAR
The marriage of Miss Ann LOGAR, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John LOGAR of Tyre, and Mr. Marion
BOZICK, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank BOZICK, also of Tyre, took place in Saint Columbkills Catholic church, Imperial, at nine o?clock Monday morning, July 2, 1928, the Rev. Fr. DRELAK officiating. The bride was attired in a white beaded gown with hat and shoes to match, and carried white tulips. Mrs. Martin RHIER was matron of honor. Her gown was of rainbow color with shoes and hat to match, and she carried red roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Jennie
LOGAR, Miss Catherine LOGAR, Miss Stella LONCHIEK, Miss Millie KUDORKO, Miss Ann
PERNISKI, and Miss Julia METLICK. All carried red roses, except Miss Jennie
LOGAR, whose flowers were white carnations. Mr. John ERGEN acted as Mr. BOZICK?s best man. Mr. Samuel
DRUGA, Mr. Peter LONCHIEK, Mr. John PERNISKI, Mr. John RHIER, Mr. Walter
KRASZENSKI, and Mrs. Peter GRIECK were the ushers. The flower girls, Bertha LOGAR and Vivian
ERGIN, were dressed in white. There was a wedding breakfast for the large bridal party immediately after the ceremony in the home of the bride?s parents in
Tyre. This was followed by a reception which lasted three days and it was attended by a thousand people. Four large wedding cakes had been provided. Mr. and Mrs. BOZICK left on their wedding trip by auto for Florida. They will be at home in Tyre after July 26.
