BLANC - LONGSTRETH

Mr. and Mrs. Harry LONGSTRETH announce the marriage of their daughter Alberta [LONGSTRETH] to August BLANC, son of Mrs. Elizabeth BLANC of Sturgeon, which took place Thursday, October 24, 1940, in New Cumberland by the Rev. Mr. BUTCHER.

A reception was held that evening in the home of the bride?s parents.  There were eight seated at the bride?s table, the centerpiece being a large wedding cake.  Guests were present from McDonald, Sturgeon, Oakdale, Thom?s Run, Cecil, and Burgettstown.  The couple will reside with the groom?s mother.

Miss Jennie QUINTARD of Bulger and Mr. Alfred B. BLANCHARD of Midway were married at Wellsburg, W. Va., on April 15, 1922.  They are making their home with Mr. BLANCHARD's mother, Mrs. Alphonsine BLANCHARD, in Midway.

Miss Blanche DRUGMAND, daughter of E. J. DRUGMAND, of Imperial, and Gustave BLANCHARD, of Midway, were married at Wellsburg, W. Va., Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. BLANCHARD will make their home in Imperial.

Miss Blanche DRUGMAND of Imperial and Mr. Gustave BLANCHARD of Midway were united in marriage at Wellsburg, W.Va., Monday afternoon, March 20, 1922.  The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. DRUGMAND, well known residents of Imperial, where Mr. DRUGMAND has kept a general store for nearly thirty years. Mr. BLANCHARD is a teacher of violin, and is well known in local musical circles.  The young couple will reside in Imperial.

McCAFFERY - BLANK

Miss Marie McCAFFERY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McCAFFERY of Laurel hill and Mr. Joseph BLANK of Sturgeon were united in marriage on Monday, January 22, at nine o'clock in St. Alphonsus church, McDonald. The Rev. Joseph A. BURGOON officiated.  The attendants were the bride's sister, Miss Catherine McCAFFERY, 
and her cousin, Mr. Thomas GRIBBEN, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. BLANK will make their home in Sturgeon.
