On the 6th inst., at the McDonald Presbyterian parsonage, by Rev. Dr. CATHCART, Mr. Aaron F. BELL and Miss Mattie R. ANDERSON.
Both bride and groom are from Washington, the former having recently made her home at the residence of Mr. R. R. HOLMES and the latter being engaged in this oil field.

Marian Agnes HAMILL, daughter of Mrs. Clarence Alexander HAMILL and the late Dr. HAMILL of Ligonier, and George Ehler BELL, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander BELL of Midway, will be married at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 1947, in the United Presbyterian church, Ligonier.

Jane SHAFFER will be maid of honor for Miss HAMILL, who will also be attended by a junior bridesmaid, Barbara Lee HAMILL, and a flower girl, Eleanor Ruth HAMILL, both of Butler.
Clarence Ewing HAMILL will give his sister in marriage.

Robert BELL, brother of the bridegroom-elect, will be bestman and the ushers will be Frank HAMILL of Fox Chapel and Robert FRIDAY of Midway.

Miss HAMILL received her master's degree at State College last month. She is a graduate of Seton Hill college. Mr. BELL is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson college.

The marriage of Miss Anna Emma Kress, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kress of Canonsburg, and Harry L. Bell, also of Canonsburg, took place Tuesday afternoon, November 14, 1922, at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. J. H. Tarnedde, at McKees Rocks. The ring ceremony was used and the couple were unattended, the bride?s parents being the only relatives present. The bride wore a becoming traveling suit of blue with hat to match and carried white chrysanthemums. After a brief wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Bell will be at home to their friends near Canonsburg.

Miss Elva Lois AHRNS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. N. AHRNS of R. D. 4, McDonald, and John Everett BELL, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Alvan BELL of R. D. 1, Rea, were united in marriage Monday, November 13, 1939, at 10:30 a.m.
The ceremony was performed in the home of the former pastor of the bridegroom, the Rev. R. E. WILSON, pastor of the Center Presbyterian church, McMurray, Pa.

The bride wore a dress of wine crepe with brown accessories and a shoulder corsage of yellow rosebuds. Mrs. BELL is a 1938 graduate of the
Hickory high school and Mr. BELL graduated with the class of 1935.  He is an employee of the A. A. HAINES Hardware, Burgettstown. After
a short trip through Virginia they will be at home to their friends in the home of the bride's parents.
