Announcement has just been made of the secret marriage of Miss Emily Bigney HALL and Mr. Howard BEGGS, which took place on
Saturday, February 18, 1921, at the
parsonage of Rev. James E. MOFFATT at Cumberland, Maryland. Mrs. BEGGS is a niece of Mrs. Frank H. KENNEDY and a graduate of the Indiana Normal and for the
past two years has been a teacher in the Carnegie school, while Mr. BEGGS is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D.C. BEGGS of First street, Oakdale and has been a student at the
University of Pittsburgh for the past three years. Mr. and Mrs. BEGGS have gone to housekeeping at 1461 Kelton avenue, Dormont, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. BEGGS have the
heartiest congratulations of the entire community for a happy and prosperous voyage through life.

BEGGS - GARBARK
Miss Clara E. GARBARK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. GARBARK of Edgewood, and John M. BEGGS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas BEGGS of
Pittsburgh, were united in marriage at 9:00 o'clock Wednesday morning, June 22, 1938, in St. Anselm's church, Swissvale. The bride was attired
in white satin with lace and carried white lilies. The bridesmaid,
Miss Helen GARBARK of Edgewood, sister of the bride, wore blue organza and
carried pink rosebuds. Mr. Brannigan O'TOOLE of Pittsburgh was the
bestman. A reception was held that afternoon at which there were 50 guests, with 12 seated at the bride's table. After a Northern trip, the young
couple will reside at 742 Bayridge avenue, Pittsburgh. Mrs. BEGGS is a graduate of the Margaret
MORRISON school. Mr. BEGGS, graduate of Fort Steuben academy, is well known in this district, being with
the county detective radio cruiser that patrols this locality.
Mr. and Mrs. R. A. JONES of Spring street attended the wedding.
