Miss Nell MONTOOTH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George MONTOOTH of Cecil, and Mr. Robert D. BEARD, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. B. BEARD of Carnegie, were united in marriage at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 1940, in Carnegie by the Rev. E. Fleetwood PRUDEN of the Baptist church.

The bride wore an olive-green street-length gown with black accessories and carried red roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Edna BEARD of Carnegie, sister of the bridegroom, wore a blue street-length gown with matching accessories and carried yellow roses. Mr. Louis DAVIS of Carnegie, cousin of the bridegroom, served as bestman.

Following the ceremony, a dinner was served in the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Jennie O'ROURKE, Cecil.

The young couple will reside in the O'Rourke home.  Mr. Beard is employed by the National Mining Co.

BEAUMARIAGE - BELL

At a quiet home wedding at 6:30 on Thursday evening, August 12, 1937, in the presence of the members of the two immediate families Miss Mary Martha BELL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. BELL of Hickory, became the bride of Alexander C. BEAUMARIAGE, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. BEAUMARIAGE of Cecil.  The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Cornelius S. THOMAS, pastor of the bride. The bride, who was unattended, wore a poudre blue gown with accessories to match and carried a corsage of Dorothy Perkins roses.  Following the ceremony a four-course dinner was served with the color scheme of white and yellow predominating.

The bride is a graduate of Muskingum college, New Concord, Ohio, 1930, and has been a successful teacher in the Mt. Pleasant township schools.  Mr. BEAUMARIAGE is a graduate of Pittsburgh University, 1929, where he received his master degree in 1937. He is a member of Cecil township high school faculty, where he teaches history and French. Those attending the wedding were the parents of the bride and bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. BELL and Mr. and Mrs. S. F. BEAUMARIAGE, Dr. C. T. LITTELL, the Rev. Cornelius S. [THOMAS] and Mrs. THOMAS, Sylvan BEAUMARIAGE and sister, Miss Sylvia BEAUMARIAGE, Mr. and Mrs. W. O. LIGHTTHIZER and son Melvin [LIGHTTHIZER] of Zanesville, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence CARTER and son Robert Lee [CARTER], Mr. and Mrs. Jules N. BEAUMARIAGE and children Patricia [BEAUMARIAGE], Richard [BEAUMARIAGE], and Phyllis [BEAUMARIAGE], Miss Virginia CALDWELL, and Denny BELL. After a short wedding trip to Niagara Falls and other places of interest in Canada, Mr. and Mrs. BEAUMARIAGE will be at home to their friends in Hickory.

On Saturday evening, October 28, 1922, Miss Elva Bradshaw DENNY, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Clark Bradshaw DENNY, became the bride of Mr. Charles Edward BEAUMONT, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward BEAUMONT. The wedding was held in the home of the bride who was given in marriage by her father, Dr. C. B. DENNY. The ring ceremony was performed by Rev. W. D. LEWIS before an altar of autumn leaves and chrysanthemums. The wedding march "Mendelssohn's" and the music during the service was played by Mrs. G. W. HOFFMAN. The bride wore a gown of white Canton crepe and carried bride's roses and a shower of lillies of the valley. She was attended by Miss Marge DuSHANE of Carnegie, who wore a gown of King's blue satin and carried pink roses. William DENNY, brother of the bride, attended as bestman. A wedding dinner followed-a mound of American beauty roses formed the center piece for the bride's table where covers were laid
for 20. Mr. and Mrs. BAUMONT [sic=BEAUMONT] left for two weeks honeymoon in New York. They will reside in their new home on Bridge street, Oakdale upon their return. The out of town guests were, Miss Ruth Jane BRADSHAW, Denver, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. D. K. FERRE, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Miss Marge Du SHANE, Carnegie.

Miss Blanche L. SCHOLLAERT and Mr. Howard L. BEAUMONT were united in marriage Wednesday evening, May 14, 1924, at 7:30 o'clock in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor SCHOLLAERT, in Sturgeon, the Rev. John H. DEBOLT, pastor of the Methodist church of McDonald, officiating. Miss Louise GROSS of Philadelphia, a cousin of the bride, and Mr. Edward BEAUMONT, a brother of the groom, were the attendants. The ring ceremony was used. Mrs. P. H. WACKER played the wedding music. The bride was gowned in taupe georgette crepe and Miss GROSS wore yellow georgette crepe. After a wedding dinner, at which places for twenty-four members of the immediate families were laid, the bride and bridegroom left on a motor trip west. After a visit to Yellowstone park they will reside in Oakdale where a new home has been erected for them. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles BEAUMONT of Oakdale.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Deane HAMMOND of Piedmont road, Columbus, Ohio, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Jean, to Staff Sergeant William Russell BECHDEL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell H. BECHDEL of Arabella street, McDonald. The ceremony took place at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday evening, September 16, 1942, in the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Jennie M. STILLEY, 202 Fourth street, McDonald. The Rev. Oscar E. GARDNER, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated. 

The bride's gown was of poudre blue lace and net and she carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds and blue delphinium. The maid of honor, Miss Virginia Eileen HAMMOND of Columbus, twin sister of the bride, wore dusty rose taffeta and a corsage of pink rosebuds. Marcelan VOYE of Bridgeville, husband of the bride's cousin, served as bestman. 

Following the reception in the STILLEY home, the young couple took a trip to New York City, after which they returned to Aberdeen, Md., where Staff Sergeant BECHDEL is stationed at the Proving Grounds. 

Mrs. BECHDEL is a graduate of North high school and attended Capitol university, Columbus. Her husband is a graduate of Muskingum college. 

Out-of-town guests included Mrs. George D. HAMILTON and daughter, Mrs. Robert O. FOSTER, of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. James S. CONNELLY of Rosemont road, East Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Marcelan VOYE of Bridgeville, Mrs. Joseph LINDEN and Mr. and Mrs. James STILLEY of Noblestown road, Oakdale, Mr. and Mrs. John TAYLOR and daughter Margaret Jane of New Castle, and Mrs. Frederick D. Peters of Regent Square, Pittsburgh.
