BARTECHKO - YENCIK
The marriage of Miss Anna YENCIK, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John YENCIK of Imperial, and Mr. Michael BARTECHKO, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael BARTECHKO of Tyre, was solemnized at St. Columbkill's church on Monday, February 25, 1924, at 10 o'clock. The bride was gowned in white satin with rhinestone trimmings and veil and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Mary BARTECHKO of Cleveland, Ohio, was bridesmaid and the flower girls were Mary LESCO, Susan POLLAK, Anna HORWATH, Annie VINCE, Josephine MERNOCK and Annie RILKO, and were dressed in white. Peter MAHOLIC, Charles MERWICK, John LAMANDE[?], William ROTH, Joseph BARTECHKO, Michael RILKO, and Andrew BARTECHKO acted as ushers at the church. The Rev. Fr. DRELAK performed the ceremony. The church was filled with people and there were two hundred guests at the YENCIK home. The party was photographed at the church. Mrs. BODNAR and her assistants, Mrs. Albert SAUERS, Mrs. BRESSLER, Mrs. POLLAK, Mrs. MORGAN and Mrs. HOMOLY, served dinner and supper to the company at four long tables. In addition there were about one hundred children who attended the serenade. Mrs. ERGEN and Mrs. ZIRE presented the wedding cakes. The bridal dance was held in SAUERS hall. The music was furnished by an orchestra from Homestead and the Drugmand band serenaded the party at the hall.
