On the 31st. ult., at the home of the bride, in Midway, by Rev. W. J. GRAHAM, assisted by Rev. D. F. DICKSON and Rev. M. A. RIGG, Rev. W. E. E. BARCUS and Miss S. Anna DICKSON.

Mr. and Mrs. BARCUS will make their home at Monaca, Pa., where Mr. BARCUS, who is a minister of the M. E. denomination, is in charge of a large congregation.

BARDSLEY - KNEPPER

The marriage of Miss Maria KNEPPER, daughter of Mrs. Margaret W. KNEPPER of Oakdale, and Henry K. BARDSLEY of Roslyn, Montgomery county, took place Wednesday evening, June 13, 1934, in the First Presbyterian church in Oakdale. The Rev. Dr. W. D. LEWIS, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church of Wheeling, W.Va., read the service at half past six o'clock. He was assisted by the Rev. Dr. Carl WHITE, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Oakdale.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother Ronald C. KNEPPER of State College, and wore a white crepe gown with white tulle veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lillies of the valley.

Miss Margaret Esther KNEPPER, a sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and wore blue organdy. Herbert TYLER of Montrose was best man.

Little Barbara KNEPPER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald C. KNEPPER of State College, was flower girl.
The bridesmaids were Miss Irene BEDNAR, and Mrs. Ray GRAHAM of Oakdale, Miss Elizabeth SHAFFER of Bedford, Miss Ruth HARMON of Dormont, Miss Helen WALLACE of McDonald, and MIss Helen HARNEY of Carnegie. They wore peach, yellow and green organdy and carried flowers to match. The ushers were Frederick WRIGHT of Morrisville, Frederick HARVEY and John DAVISON of Roslyn, George RUTLEDGE of Wayne, Robert WALLACE of McDonald, and James W. KNEPPER of State College.

The wedding march from Lohengrin was played by Mrs. Lee LONGENECKER of Crafton. Mrs. Alvert R. ZEIGLER of Oakdale, a sister of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly." The church was decorated with ferns and hydrangeas.
The bride is a graduate of the Carnegie high school and attended the Pennsylvania State college and Margaret Morrison Carnegie college. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State college. 

Following a reception in the bride's home, Mr. and Mrs. BARDSLEY left on an Eastern wedding trip after which they will make their home in Roslyn, near Philadelphia.

BARKER - PIERSON

Miss Alina PIERSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis PIERSON of Hollidays Cove, W.Va., and James J. BARKER, son of William Barker of Weirton, W.Va., formerly of McDonald, were united in marriage at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 1939, in the Presbyterian manse, Hollidays Cove, the Rev. Mr. BARNES officiating.  The bride wore white soie demarchienne embroidered in white forget-me-nots with white accessories. Her corsage was of white roses, lilies of the  valley, and babybreath. The bridesmaid, Miss Josephine PIERSON, sister of the bride, wore rose lace with white accessories and a corsage of tea roses and babybreath. Mr. E. Randall GARDINER of McDonald served as bestman.  During the reception, the bridegroom's father fell down the cellar steps and died of a compound fracture of the skull.  The wedding trip was cancelled.  Mrs. BARKER attended the Edgewood school. Mr. BARKER attended the McDonald schools and is employed in the Weirton Steel mill. The young couple will reside in Weirton.

BARKER - FOLTZ

Miss Irene FOLTZ, daughter of Mrs. Etta FOLTZ of Bulger, and Walter D. BARKER, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. BARKER of Crafton, were united in marriage at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 1947, in the First U. P. church, Carnegie. The Rev. Mr. STEWART performed the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a gray suit with white accessories and a corsage of red rosebuds. The matron of honor, Mrs. Pearl GOBELER of Brookline, wore a navy blue dress with matching accessories and a corsage of mixed flowers. Lee Roy FOLTZ of Bulger was the bestman and Charles Kenneth FOLTZ of Bulger and Theodore GOBELER of Brookline were the ushers. Following the ceremony, a reception for 50 guests was held in the home of the bride's mother. Fourteen were seated at the bride's table.

The bride attended Midway high school and is employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Carnegie high school and is also an employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad. The young couple will reside in Crafton.
