The Rev. Arthur R. ARMSTRONG of McDonald and Miss Geralda McBRIDE, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Scott F. McBRIDE of Washington, D. C. were united in marriage at noon on Tuesday, October 1st, in the Wallace Memorial United Presbyterian church of Washington, D. C. The ceremony was performed by the father of the bride, assisted by the Rev. C. E. HAWTHORNE, pastor of the church. There were no attendants. The Rev. Mr. ARMSTRONG is pastor of the Robinson's Run United Presbyterian church of this place.

ARMSTRONG - RASEL

Miss Mary RASEL, daughter of Henry C. RASEL, of Hickory R. D. 1, and James ARMSTRONG, son of Mrs. Mary ARMSTRONG, of Canonsburg, were united in marriage Wednesday, October 23, 1929, in the manse of the St. Paul Lutheran church, in Canonsburg, Rev. F. E. EBERLE officiating. Rev. Mr. EBERLE is, also pastor of the English Lutheran church, of Hickory. Miss Clarissa ARMSTRONG, a sister of the groom, and Bert ANTHONY, a friend of the bridegroom, attended the couple. Other Attendants were Helen WONSETTLER, Charles RASEL, and Luther SIMMONS, the later of Columbus, Ohio. Following the wedding, the party went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. John ARMSTRONG, where a reception dinner was served with covers laid for 45 guests. Mr. and Mrs. ARMSTRONG will reside in Canonsburg, the bridegroom being in the employ of the Fort Pitt Bridge company.

Announcement has been made of the marriage of Margaret Carson QUERNS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. QUERNS of East Lincoln avenue, McDonald, to Mr. George Russell ARMSTRONG, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. ARMSTRONG of Canonsburg. The ceremony was performed at Wellsburg, W. Va. on Saturday, April 3, 1926, by the Rev. Milton M. ALLISON, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Wellsburg. The announcement of their marriage comes as a surprise to their friends. After
June seventh they will be at home at 26 West College street, Canonsburg.
