Brothers Seeking Degrees

Robert and Richard Grabowski, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Narcia [sic=correction, Narcis] Grabowski of Nanticoke, are taking courses which will lead to degress in their respective fields. 

Robert, who has accepted a position in the engineering department of Ingersoll-Rand Co. at Phillipsburg, N. J., has also enrolled at Lafayette College, Easton, where he will pursue a course leading to a degree in mechanical engineering under a full scholarship awarded by the company. He is a member of the U. S. Navel Reserves and a graduate of Nanticoke high school. He also attended Williamsport Technical Institute, where he studied mechanical drafting and design. 

Richard has enrolled at Temple University, Philadelphia where he will do graduate work leading to a master's degree in audiology and psychology. A graduate of Nanticoke high school and of Bloomsburg State Teachers' College, he is speech correctionist for Lehigh County school district. He served two years in the U.S. Army and resides in Allentown with his wife, the former Loni Rothenberger of Heilbroun, Germany.

The young men are grandsons of Mrs. Blanche Pivovar Bettle of North street, McDonald, and the late John Pivovar. Their mother was Mary Pivovar of McDonald.
