Jas. BOE, the oldest British pensioner.

Jas. BOE, eighty-six years old, is the oldest British pensioner. He enlisted in
1831 and spent more than a quarter of a century in the army, much of the time in
foreign countries. He now has his home with a daughter near Cumnock in old
Scotland. Recently his picture and biography wee in the Glasgow Mail. Andrew
BOE, who for dozen years has owned and lived on the property adjoining Henry
SMITH on the west, on East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, is a son of James BOE, and
Thomas BOE, of Willow Grove, is another son.
