Party for Danton MONJOT before moving to Montreal, Canada
From The McDonald PA Record newspaper, Aug. 7, 1914, page unknown:
Danton MONJOT was honored on Monday of last week with a largely attended party
prior to his departure for Montreal, Canada, where he goes to resume his
studies. More than fifty young people were present and made merry on the
spacious lawn of the MONJOT home in Valley street. The prize winners in the
contests were Mrs. Albert SAPPIE, Miss Martha MARLIER, Fred BROWET and Jules Z.
MASQUELIER. A bountiful and delicious lunch was served at ten thirty. The
out-of-town guests were Robert KRIEGER and Eugene CRIDER of Oakdale, Clifton
BOLES of Burgettstown and Fernand BUCHON of Sturgeon.
