Robert F. SLACK, McDonald banker, on October 1 [1984] marked his 25th year of
service with the Union National Bank.
A graduate of Burgettstown High School, he began his banking career on October 1, 1959, as a teller in the McDonald office of the
Bridgeville National Bank. He was promoted to manager of Union National's
South Hills office on Mt. Washington in April of 1978.
SLACK, who is now a retail banking officer and manager, on
August 6 was named officer-in-charge of the McDonald office of Union
National.
For over six years he was secretary of the Mt. Washington Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a former member of the Lions Club of McDonald.
He is an active member and an ordained elder of the Trinity Presbyterian
Church, McDonald.
He is married to the former Janet SIMPSON of Oakdale and they have a son, Mark, 13, who is in the eighth grade at Fort Cherry Junior High
School.
