75th Birthday Celebration of Mrs. Ethel BRUCE

Mrs. Ethel BRUCE of 120 Valley Street, McDonald, was the guest of honor at
a surprise birthday party given by her family and friends on Sunday, October
28, in celebration of her 75th birthday.
A buffet dinner was prepared for the 60 guests in the dining room of the Pitt
Hotel, McDonald. The table was decorated with a large floral centerpiece of
tea roses, rust carnations and yellow mums. The traditional birthday cake was
also decorated with light orange team (sic) and high-lighted with light green
frosting.
The honored guest received many gifts and enjoyed spending the evening with
her friends and family.
