SOUFFRANT Anniversary

Sturgeon Couple Married 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. August SOUFFRANT observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary Thursday, July 25, 1946 as their home on Champion Hill, Sturgeon. Many friends and relatives called during the afternoon and evening to extend congratulations. A light lunch was served. They received many gifts and cards.

Mr. and Mr. SOUFFRANT were married July 25, 1896 in McDonald [Pa] by Squire R. J. COOK and have been residents of Sturgeon the last 45 years. They are the parents of four sons and one daughter, Alex SOUFFRANT, Indianola, Henry SOUFFRANT of Carnegie, William SOUFFRANT of Noblestown, and August SOUFFRANT, Jr., at home, and Josephine the wife of Joseph DUFOUR of Sturgeon.
