MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM C. SCHUMACHER

Mr. and Mrs. William C. SCHUMACHER of Champion Hill, R. D. 1, McDonald, observed their 50th wedding anniversary January 9.

They were guests of honor at an open house January 8 in their home, with 45 guests in attendance including their family and friends. They received a number of gifts.

Mr. and Mrs. SCHUMACHER were united in marriage January 9, 1911 in St. Patrick's R. C. Church, Noblestown [Pa].

They are the parents of five children--a son, Carl of R. D. 1, McDonald; and four daughters, Mrs. Marcella NICKSICK of McDonald, Mrs. Arthur RANK of Sturgeon, Mrs. Nick PALAMARAS of Cambridge, Md., and Mrs. Robert KADYK of Harmarville. There are eight grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
