Record, July 7, 1905:
Mr. and Mrs. W. M. MAXWELL, who were married July 1, 1890, celebrated
their crystal wedding on Saturday at their beautiful home, which adjoins
the High School grounds, at Hickory. The weather being unfavorable to an
outdoor dinner the many guests were assembled in the school building.
THE MAXWELL family has a large connection in this county and the many
branches were well represented at this reunion, there being about 80
relatives present. The host and hostess were remembered with many
beautiful presents.
