Record, August 7, 1908:
Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. LASHER of Noblestown entertained a large
number of relatives and friends on Tuesday evening, the occasion being
the 23d anniversary of their marriage. Mr. and Mrs. LASHER, formerly of
Duke Centre, McKean County, Pa., were married at the home of her sister,
Mrs. J. C. WESTON, August 4, 1885. Four children were born to their
union, Harry, Frank, Mildred and Marie. Harry died at the age of five
years. Marie, the youngest died at the age of seven. The evening of the
celebration was spent in music, both vocal and instrumental. A dainty
lunch was served. Last of all the wedding cake was served with ice
cream. Present were Mr. and Ms. W. H. PARKINSON, Mrs. Minnie WALTON,
George CORP and Miss EVANS, all of McKees Rocks; Mrs. J. C. WESTON and
grandson Raymond of Montpelier, Ind., Mrs. G. W. BUSH and son Earle of
McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. John LASHER, Mr. and Mrs. Earl LASHER, and
daughter Grace.
