Mr. and Mrs. F. O. KRESS of Fanny street, celebrated their
thirty-fifth wedding anniversary on Tuesday evening, Jan. 1, 1907. About
twenty people were present to express their congratulations and best
wishes, bringing a number of very beautiful gifts as tokens of their
esteem for Mr. and Mrs. KRESS who are well known in this locality. In
keeping with the occasion those present were bent on having a good time,
and carried out their intentions. During the evening the guests enjoyed
a musical program and bountiful lunch. At a late hour the guest departed
with wishes that Mr. and Mrs. KRESS might have many more years of happy
married life. The out of town guests were: Mrs. Martha HENDERSON, Mr.
and Mrs. Walker COMFORT, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. HENDERSON, Clayton and
Marguerite HENDERSON, of Pittsburgh; Geo. J. LIEPOLD, of Morganza; Miss
DUERY, of Midway.
