Mr. and Mrs. George McClelland COUCH
Cherry Valley PA Washington County PA
? wedding anniversary

From The Record, February 28, 1908:

Last Saturday was the twenty-fifty wedding [italics added] anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. George McClelland COUCH, well known in McDonald, who now reside on the John STERLING farm in Cherry Valley. Their relatives and friends here to the number of forty drove over in two wagons and with a score from other points tried to take them by surprise. The grand old-fashioned turkey supper that was served at nine o'clock was grounds for the belief that the surprise was not complete. But no disappointment was felt as the palatable viands reconciled all, and the social hours that followed left nothing to wish for. A handsome silver tea set was presented to the hostess and the host was the recipient of a luxurious leather armchair. The presentations were made by Robert J. COOK, burgess of McDonald, who also led the dancing by himself doing an Irish Jig to perfection. Many of the older guests forgot for the time being the weight of years and were boys and girls again as they entered the merry maze and tripped the fantastic toe once more. Much fun was had enroute when one of the horses balked and the passengers had to get out and push the wagon to the top of Gamble WINTERS' hill. Squire COCHRAN is authority for the statement that the wife of a prominent McDonald tailor is a most capable equestrienne. The evening was one of great pleasure and much merriment.
*Note: Obviously, " the twenty-fifty wedding anniversary" is a typo.  I don't have the image to double-check and correct the transcription.
