Friends and relatives are invited to an "open house" to celebrate
the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Louis BERNARD on Saturday,
August 18, at the Mt. Pleasant Township, Park in Hickory from 2:00 p.m. to
4:00 p.m. The couple ask that no gifts be brought to the celebration.
Mr. and Mrs. BERNARD, currently residing on McCarrell Road in Hickory, were
married in Wellsburg, West Virginia, in 1934. Louis is the son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. QUIRINO, BERNARD and Edith is the daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Steve ___TONIETTA.
The couple are the parents of a son, John Louis, Married to Pris___ J.
BEAUMARIAGE, also of McCarrell Road, Hickory, and a daughter, C___ Ann, wife
of F. Kenneth COX, of Christy Road, Eighty Four. They have four
grandchildren, Michael and Michelle BERNARD, and Eric and ___frey COX.
Mr. BERNARD was employed by Climax Molybdenum Company, Langeloth prior to
his retirement.
The couple are also active members of St. Patrick's Church in Canonsburg,
and with the Houston Senior Citizens.
