From the McDonald PA Record newspaper, April 8, 1927, page unknown:
The West Penn Railways motorman- conductor,
who on February 28 completed three years without an accident
[sic]. He has been in the service of the company nearly fifteen
years---since August 23, 1912. He is the first motorman to make
three consecutive years.
