FIRST LOCOMOTIVE ARRIVES IN McDONALD PENNSYLVANIA !

Undated Photograph from the 1800s

Undated Photo: A railroad buff states that that style of this locomotive was from about 1860 or so.  The one in the photo above is probably somewhat later.  

The Caption Reads: "H. L. LEWIS, local photographer, resurrected the negative of this photograph of the first train to enter McDonald [PA] after the railroad was opened for use.  The type and style of the locomotive will aid in dating the picture."
