From the McDonald PA Record-Outlook newspaper, August 8, 1957, page unknown:

Fernand SUPLIT of Wilkinsburg [PA], formerly of McDonald [PA], was one of 22 veteran employees who retired August 1 from the Westinghouse Corporation's East Pittsburgh division.

Mr. SUPLIT started his career with Westinghouse in 1907 as a material handler earning 12 cents an hour. He has spent the past 40 years as a winder with the firm.
In addition to the numerous winding jobs which he has worked on at the plant, Mr. SUPLIT spent a good deal of time working on service and installation assignments particularly in Colorado and Massachusetts.

Now that his time is his own the 50-year veteran is planning to spend considerable time pursuing hobbies of fishing and traveling. Mr. SUPLIT hopes to make a trip to Belgium during his retirement to visit a distant relative.
