Obituary of Mrs. Jennie Lee Moore Zelt

Mrs. Jennie Lee Moore Zelt, of 841 Park Avenue, Washington, died in Washington Hospital at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 1968. She was born in South Franklin Township January 13, 1885, a daughter of David T. and Emma Boone Moore.
Mrs. Zelt was employed by Bell Telephone Company for many years before her retirement 16 years ago. She was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a member of Bell Telephone's 10 year Club.
She also was a member of Church of the Covenant, Circle Three, Martha Paul Bible Class of the former Third Presbyterian Church, Washington Hospital Women's Auxillary and the YWCA, and was a life member of Lincol Chapter No. 112, Order of Eastern Star.
On Jun 8, 1904, she was married to Thomas Albert Zelt, who died in March of 1955.
Surviving are three children: Miriam, wife of Raymond Carter, of Washington; Mrs. Joanna McCullough of Fairmont, W. Va and David J. Zelt of Gabby Heights, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are six brothers and sisters: Melvin, James, and Ted Moore, all of Washington; Samuel moore of Washington, R.D. #; Lenora Mounts of Washington; and Joanna Hall of Brentwood. Two sister, Martha Stewart and Juanita Wilson are deceased.
