Obituary of Mrs. Elizabeth (Greer) Zelt
died Monday, Oct. 10, 1921

Mrs. Elizabeth Zelt, who Fractured Hip in a Fall, Dies in Local Hospital

Mrs. Elizabeth Greer Zelt of 306 West Maiden Street, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Washington Hospital. Mrs. Zelt fell almost four weeks ago, fracturing her hip and had never rallied from the effects. A daughter of the late James and Susan Greer, Mrs. Zelt was born and reared in Washington, spending her entire life here. Early in life, she married Louis Zelt, Sr., who died suddenly seven months ago. Mrs. Zelt was an active member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.


Mrs. Zelt was the mother of 10 children. The following survive: Wray G., Henry, Adam, Frank and Miss Daisy, all of whom reside in Washington. Funeral services will be held at the Zelt home Friday afternoon in charge of Rev. Frank Oberly of the Lutheran Church. The hour will be announced later. Interment will be in the Washington Cemetery.
