Obituary of Mr. Charles L. (Chase) Zelt 1967

Obituary from the Observer-Reporter newspaper, Thursday, July 13, 1967, page unknown (handwritten across top of obit) and the Funeral Notice:

CHARLES L. ZELT

Charles L. (Chase) ZELT, 61, of 128 South Franklin Street, was dead on arrival at Washington Hospital at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 1967, after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. ZELT was born in Washington, a son of Grover C. and Anna Blache DENNISON ZELT. He was employed as a mold maker for many years at Hazel Glass Co. and Brockway Glass Co. until his retirement.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Eagles Lodge, Washington.

Surviving are one aunt, Alice, wife of George MARBLE; one uncle, Frank T. ZELT, and one cousin, Attorney Wray G. ZELT, all of Washington.

ZELT - Friends of Charles L. (Chase) ZELT, 128 South Franklin Street, who died Wednesday, July 12, 1967, will be received from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday in the Piatt Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 14, in charge of Rev. R. E. DOZER, pastor of First Lutheran Church. Burial in Washington Cemetery.
